I haven't been Sammy's biggest fan. He has been horribly inconsistent for us. But he has been playing well in the last few games and I'm now starting to wonder if we should give him another go. Yes he has had loads of chances I know....but he didn't lay this well in the past when he got them. I'm a bit confused about him. One day I like him and the next I want him gone!!

it does however look like we will be signing diawara' top scorer in portual this season so he must be decent enough

Boruc was a year older than lurch 24 when we signed him and already world class so that makes your argument where was boruc at that age a little redundant {Ed007's Note - So you had heard of Boruc playing for Legia Warsaw?? You do know we had him on loan first when he was 25?}
Ed, ignore the age factor here. The simple fact of the matter is a club like Celtic should not be relying on inexperienced loanees, end of. A keeper is the base of defence and is as important as a top quality striker, how many times do we here about a keeper being worth 20 pts a season? Also,a strong keeper allied with a centre half pairing is the foundation of the team. I don't need to point out to anyone where we've been failing miserablely for god knows how long. Just because NL insists he is and has always been the No 1 target doesn't make it right. I'm sure you'll agree there are many other questionable decisions made we've all scrateched our heads at. {Ed007's Note - I don't scratch my head, use Vosene. Perhaps it's you that spouts garbage and to be honest on this subject you are if you think FF is worth £2M. There are many keepers around less than that and far better. As I know nothing inlighten me into why you think FF is the answer {Ed007's Note - I only show respect to people with a smidging of intelligence. Obviously you failed. Celtic will definitely sign Fraser if they win the league. If they don't win the league, they may still sign him. The only issue with Diawara is his value has rocketed in the past 5 months.
What has forster done wrong? nothing hes only going to get better!!
Ed correct me if I'm wrong .. But isn't Forster and celtics defense spl record holders for clean sheets? Only last season. Trickycelt! Forster is a great shot stopper, he could come of his line more but he is still young and that will come. How many blunders does he make? How many points does he cost us? How many blunders did boruc make in his last couple of seasons? How many points did boruc cost us? If forrest gets a tattoo saying he hates rangers and wears a pope t shirt I bet certain elements of the fans would all of a sudden love him. Gee the lad a chance he's done nothing wrong!
Ed in my opinion FF is not commanding enough and causes nerves to fray at the back. if he improved that side of his game then fair enough but until then im not totally convinced....as u say still young enough so lets hope he can improve on his weaknesses
I cannot believe anyone can make a defence for fraser foster if you are good enough you are old enough, if neil lennon wastes 2m on this muppet and big dan gets a new contract the only thing that will keep him in a job is ally making an ar5e of it, why not go for kello and have 2m for another cb or would that be perfectly simple.
I wasnt Forster biggest fan but I have seen massive improvements in his game in one season. He never used to come off his line he does now and its so much more noticeable. He has also improved at crosses and I think as the defence settles more so he will improve further. He doesnt get injured and doesnt make any humdinging mistakes that you really talk about. The back pass was chas fault before anyone says but other than that hes been in excellent form.
