earlier a caller to radio snyde had a good point
dump the shame to div2 or 3 spl/sfa take out a loan to compensate the other clubs for loss of revenue,
when the shame re enter the premiere league MAKE them service this loan.
that way they compensate the other clubs for their wrongdoing and at the same time redeem themselves in the eyes of the honest footballing world.
also this would enable the beaks to drop there player embargo

Believable17 Unbelievable4

Are you serious mate,or just having a laugh?
I know you've cited the guy on Radio Snyde,but you've posted it on here.
At least you haven't wished for our total demise. The SFA/SPL will decide our fate,but the new owners (if there is to be one) and the fans won't be taken for complete mugs,flog us to death and expect us to supplement the rest of the SPL? No mate,You are having a laugh,or you're totally insane.
Optimistic Bear

Agree0 Disagree0

I think whoever that clever gent was, has cracked it. Its a very good idea that will no doubt be overlooked. Its too much like common sense for the men running Scottish Football.

Agree0 Disagree0

It's too honest , they don't do honest

Ska bhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

Sounds plausible and fair to me GJ. The guys name didn't start with Lord by any chance did it, lol?

Brian

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats a good idea.but as you all know it wont happen . who ever said it should send in his proposal to all other clubs and let them thimk it over.

Agree0 Disagree0

Again, you all are just making up punishment as you go along. Why the constant rule changing ideas just because it's Rangers?

If the SFA were to even attempt to tell Rangers to service the loan they will be told were to go. You can't force anyone to service a loan!

Rangers being forced into the 3rd division would be punishment enough. You sad individuals just won't stop with your punishment ideas.......purely because it's Rangers. You can't just make up punishmenst ya bunch of sado!!!!!!!

TTG

Agree0 Disagree0

"flog us to death and expect us to supplement the rest of the SPL?"

Here we go again... You owe the rest of the SPL for years of cheating! I have yet to meet a rangers fan who will actually accept any wrong doing!

I bet if we were talking about BP or another oil company avoiding taxes the Rangers fans wouldn't be so blind with their opinions!

Agree0 Disagree0

Stupid idea. Its not up to the old firm to supplement the rest of Scottish football. If the shame do get relegated, the rest will just have to make do. Cant have it both ways I'm afraid. Jig

Agree0 Disagree0

TTG , we Celtic fans are not sad(o's) we are all "Happy as Larry" mate , its you lot who are sad , dropping yous in the 1st division , compensating the smaller SPL clubs for a year and making yous pay your way is surely better than fining yous £160,000 (Which you will only dingy) and emposing a transfer embargo on yous , what do you think is a suitable punishment then mate ? given the seriousness of your club's offences , which apparently only match fixing can trump , oh thats right you think you should get off scot free , have a word with yourself Nobby !! .

Something BIG is happening as we speak with the "shame" with all sorts of names (sourness,blue knights,whyte etc) all in some sort of meeting today or so I'm hearing from a good few folk just now! Anyone know anything about it? I see on ssn now this character Kennedy is being interviewed now moaning about some crap! Shambles united!! Oh it's a good time to be a tim!! Ha fkn ha! Loving it!
CB67

Believable9 Unbelievable2

Never a good time :o)

Agree0 Disagree0

Looks like blue knights are in the huff cause £2.20 and a pack of haribo was rejected.

Agree0 Disagree0

Where can i find the statement of Rangers wrong doing issued by the SFA

Agree0 Disagree0

If its a good time to be a tim as you say, why soo intrestered in the gers?

Did you see the press conference with murray and kennedy Ed? I missed the first 10-15 mins but kennedy esp looked pissed!!

Also seemed to me as though the bbc were not there or were they not invited? Was this murray using murrays mates from the succulent lamb brigade?

Also noticed how no real striking questions were asked such as what gives you so much assurance that a cva pot of 8mil would be accepted if and probably when the overall pot to pay is 134mil!?

Its edging closer to liquidation every minute and agree with your comment that it is getting funnier with each thing you read!

Evinguu {Ed007's Note - None of them looked particularly jovial.}

Believable7 Unbelievable3

Not funny for the genuine rangers supporter. Lets think on that level and be above the bigotry. This is purely down to a business which publicly spent more than it earned and now faces the consequences. When Celtic went down this road they did not have anywhere near the same mess that RFC now has and were saveable. This lot are not. And while I follow Celtic I also have hopes for Scottish Football. RFC have managed to take us back 20 years and we now rank with the countries who see football as a nice thing and not a way of life as we have done in past.

Agree0 Disagree0

That Paul Murray has a face you want to slap.See when he smiles,his mouth looks like Beaker's from The Muppets.

Jungle Bhoy.

Agree0 Disagree0

You have a point there that we should have sympathy for the good honest football fans that just happened to have supported rangers for whatever reason they choose!

This is where you would normally expect a but so I will supply one.... But when the mainstay of said clubs support do not realise the dangers, do not realise the magnitude and do not show a care for anything else in this country footballing wise then I'm sorry I'm still allowed to have a giggle at the predicament and their pain. Does this make me better than them? Certainly doesn't.

Why should our well run club ultimatley pay a price for their clubs misdemeanours? Why should hibs dundee united st johnstone etc etc pay effectivley twice for their clubs ineptitude to stick to the rules that we all agreed too and are easily available (if difficult to understand at times) for anyone who is running their club. Then no I have no sympathy for the club itself when I refer to rangers I mean the club, the fans .. Well I have some but from various sites and conversations it is the minority of them I feel sorry for!

Evinguu

Agree0 Disagree0

Evinguu that was very well put......Del Bhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said my fellow

Agree0 Disagree0

When we were on our a$$$ did they feel sorry for us, no , i cant wait till the day they , there club and their history is eradicated from the face of the earth

Agree0 Disagree0

Please explain, how is Rangers debt £134m? Where do you lot get this nonsense?

You lot seem to believe what papers say only when you want to.

TTG

Agree0 Disagree0

TTG read the post IF and PROBABLY when the overall pot topay is 134 million.

These figures are plucked straight from the Administrators release a few weeks back where the clubs current and potential liabilities were layed out in black and whyte, its one of the few things the press have got right.

2 blogs by Alex Thomson today.Makes very interesting reading.

Good honest reporting and as you say JB very interesting.

I would say they have virtually no chance of winning their appeal.

Of course, none of Tomo's content will be covered in tomorrow's MSM.

Afternoon ED007, one of my bear pals told me Rangers Media did a piece today comparing RFC(IA) problems with...
PEARL HARBOUR! Why such an analogy aparently they see "wave, after wave of attacks in the papers against their club" what papers are they reading because Jabba, Chico, Keavo, Jacko et al are all bluenoses and only print RFC(IA) propaganda...
These guys get more deluded everyday Hail hail Timalloy {Ed007's Note - It's just the usual Tim, people believe all the good news in rags about their team but any bad news is lies and people out to get them.}

Believable3 Unbelievable2

I've just been reading it and it also mentions the holocaust . But it's the so called vile comments from Facebook that gets me at the end of the column . Couldn't authorities get it shut down . God the contributors actually leave names and photos of themselves. Is it true that Dingwall runs the site......DH

Agree0 Disagree0

Ahh cmon tim those people in particular arra peepil let's cut them some slack. Let bygons be bigots and move on.

As for the media, they have been a cut above during this whole sordid affair. Accurate reporting incisive questioning and an unwavered determination to uncover the truth. I stand and applaud the media in their reporting off all and sundry. Jabba in particular along with keevins and jackson are all fine journalists who cut cut to the story in a few simple words.....ok I can only do so much sarcasm!

Ok at work bored and in silly mode....

If rangers die / leave SPL and reapply to 3rd div. What's to stop either of the following. A Celtic B team to apply for the spot like what we see in Spain and has been mentioned by others and myself before?. Or for someone like Desmond to put a wee bit of money together and reinvent the 3rd Lanark a true phoenix from the flames ?

Evinguu

Believable2 Unbelievable6

Evinguu, not too far off the mark, there is a school of thought to admit Pollok Juniors to the SFL, as they are the closest neighbours to old Third Lanark (the Hi Hi) and have taken a lot of their fans on board and they get decent crowds better than most second division clubs... Timalloy

Agree0 Disagree0

Great to see third lanark instead of RFC - GO FOR IT DESMOND. We could support them when CFC is playing away and lets see how the rest of them can outvote and beat us. (support home ventures) I would go too Cathkin (my Dad used to come from there to tell me how thy had humped us)

Agree0 Disagree0

I would expect Spartans and Cove Rangers to be applying too. They have both applied before and never made it and both are likely to try again. {Ed007's Note - That is who the opposition for an available SFL position would be.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Id love to see dundee get up. have a soft spot for them and of course albert kidd

What about these thai tims! The exemplify everything our great club is about.Fantastic night at their concert and congratulations to every one involved.If ever a night was made for Tommy Burns this was it,But in the words of the Tims i know he will be smiling down on every one of them.RIP Tam,never forgotten.ED007;Have a look at legless mate,i get the feeling he might be trying to send a subliminal message to the gers fans! First time in months he's not mentioned his heroes the "true blue knights" and is ranting about rangers resigning from the SPL! Strange days indeed.It seems that he might have forgot about where they will play,what league etc?All this before the BTC and the new Mark Daly BBC report,i get the feeling insiders at ibrox night know something?..........green jhedi {Ed007's Note - He must have been rocking when he wrote that lmfao. He does seem to be softening the blow of liquidation, how gallant of him, can you be a gallant kn*bhead? Maybe we are about to find out.}

Believable4 Unbelievable5

Mind boggling - you start off going on about the Tai Tims them sully your comments by referring to a person who has lost his legs - just because he's connected with Rangers!! What a cretin {Ed007's Note - Who has lost their legs? I changed the name and anyone who reads the pages knows who we am talking about. If you don't then good, it saves you going to read the complete sh1te he writes. I refuse to print the drunken bigots name, as it would mean sending traffic to his bogging blog. You owe GJ an apology, or are you not man enough for that?}

Agree0 Disagree0

Does he really have no legs? or is this someone taking exception to nothing? I thought he had no legs simply cos he couldnt use them due to whatever it is he is on! if true though I didnt know that a person can still be an arse even if they dont have legs! However I love he who shall not be named's page. Its insightful, accurate and well balanced...... For a nutcase!!

Everytime i read he who shall not be named i cannot help but smirk.

Gotta say the Thai Tims are wonderful, they are a glimmer of what good can be done to peoples life through a simple game, a reminder to ourselves how lucky we are in both our good health and our environment to live a comfortable life. This can be said of any organisation that does this kind of work its just great that our club can provide this level of exposure and funding oppertunity to at least one of them. Well done to all involved (including Ed for the amount of stuff I have read that you do)

Evinguu

ED007, Green Jhedi the kids were fantastic, and my family are teasing me as I was in tears during their performance, it was lucky I did bring hankies LOL Timalloy
PS GJ another nameless bear unable to read properly.... it seems they cannot "leg o of it" ha ha

Agree0 Disagree0

Green Jhedi - please accept my sincere, heartfelt and profound apology for referring to you as a cretin. I thought you were genuinely referring to someone who had lost their legs (as opposed to being legless through alcohol) at the same time as refrring to the kids!

My mistake buddy. hail hail {Ed007's Note - Good man.}

Rangers appeal to be heard next Wednesday by Lord Carloway, Craig Graham (Spartans Chairman) and Allan Cowan (Partick Thistle Chairman).

According to Alex Thomson the original decision found that Rangers offences were so serious only match fixing could have been worse. The tribunal considered whether it should terminate Rangers membership of the SFA.

If that is anything to go by (and I'm sure they have been able to give justifiable reasons for reaching these conclusions) then it is likely the original decision will be upheld.

K-Dot

Believable9 Unbelievable2

That quote tell you all you need to know about the spineless SFA,so serious only match fixing would be worse and all they get is a 10 point deduction and a transfer ban when they have no money to spend anyway

Dannybhoy(UEFAs 3 year ban is fairer)

Agree0 Disagree0

Correction - I believe Allan Cowan is no longer Chairman of Partick Thistle.

Craig Graham is a Chartered Accountant and Allan Cowan is a solicitor.

K-Dot

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed can the SFA increase the punishment for a futile attempt at appealing like they can do with players appealing a ban?

Now wouldn't that be funny if they made things worse for themselves.

CeltStu {Ed007's Note - Yes the punishment can be increased.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Gents, let's not forget that appeal can give also be more detrimental than intitial decision. Do they have power to increase decision? {Ed007's Note - Yes they have the power to increase any punishment or sanctions.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I am sure I read that Paul McConville thinks they will win their appeal.
Liah Smit

Agree0 Disagree0

Liah - Anything posted on Paul McConville's site would have been before the SFA reasons for their decision were published.

Ed i cant belive the people who are saying they will boycot Celtic games if Rangers dont get punished accordingly. As much as am Laughing my head off at the situation over at Ipox. I do feel the scottish league would be better off with both of the Old Firm. However no matter what happens i will always stick by my club. Our club. Btw these clowns that want to boycot Celtic games are probably the same people who gave dogs abuse to Fergus McCann(who saved us) and insist on slagging our board. I fell we have one of the best boards in Europe keeping us financially stable. Bottom line is we cant afford to spend lots of money. So the people on here going on about spending 20 and 30 million are living in a dream world. Look at our fantastic neighbours across the road for a reality check.
Paderbhoy.

Believable11 Unbelievable1

Most fans i have spoken to will boycott away games of the teams that vote for rangers to stay in top league

Just read that Leicester are looking to move for Kelvin Wilson. What a let off it would be getting rid of that big diddy. Thinks he is better than he is, seems to have the attitude that he would stroll it up here.

Believable11 Unbelievable4

Swap for sol Bamba ..?

Agree0 Disagree0

Me and my mate are sat at work and just suggested swapping him for bamba. he's already shown that he's capable in this league and he gets a few goals as well.

Agree0 Disagree0

He is to my mind a big let down as a Celtic player. I really agree that he did not apply himself ( injuries aside) He is either too laid back or too disinterested to be a Celtic man as I actually think he has enough about him to be a very good player. I just need to cast a glance at the Hibs boy McPake, that laddie has had a lot to contend with and he gives his all for his employers and the fans. He has raised the roof and the temperature at Easter road. If I was to give KW a mark it would be −273.15°C, that's a big fat 0 on the Kelvin scale. Sopot Celt

Agree0 Disagree0

Bamba would be agood shout.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bit harsh. I agree, he's had a horrendous season. But he looked good before he got injured bar a poor game against Rangers (where he wasn't the only one) and I don't think he's ever quite come back from his injury.

I think he should get another season to prove himself. If he's still a bombscare next season then I'd sell. Having said that every player has their price...

Agree0 Disagree0

He is worse than loovens, get rid. Can't believe we will get paid, he's hesitant clumsy and error prone, ta ta

Jamie Mac

Agree0 Disagree0

Not sure about whether he has the right attitude or not, Lennon will be quite good at judging that. Having worked with him at two different clubs. Looked great start of the season. Next season we'll see the best of him. Certainly has the capacity for an SPL winning side.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bamba is a good player, his game has come on leaps and bounds since he moved down south and got his first cap for ivory coast . I wouldn't be against signing him. Liverpool, Blackburn and Wolves have all been linked with him over the last 2 seasons. he can play holding role behind the midfield aswell and has played there at International level.

Agree0 Disagree0

Get rid off, don't like his style. N obviously neither does Lenny oot I say. Bring in the new!

Agree0 Disagree0

Bamba is a shambles to casual on the ball like cauldenbauer

Agree0 Disagree0

That'll be the same Kelvin Wilson that the manager was persistent in obtaining, even tho the forrest manager didn't want to lose him. Lennon obviously saw something in the guy?! Not his fault he hasn't been given a chance in a team of 8,9,10 defenders. But, obviously had something at the time that the manager saw. As for worse than Sol Bamba? Really? Is that the defensive solutions? Really? {Ed007's Note - Sol Bamba or James McPake?? Reach for the stars stuff isn't it........

I have been disappointed in Wilson purely for the fact that the very little I had seen of him and his reputation in England, we have got a better player there than we have seen out of him IMO.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Possibly the worst Celtic playerever to sport the hoops, only one on par is Rafael Keech!
