Just read something there suggesting Kouassi is finished at Celtic should we sign the boy Stirling from WBA, have to say I disagree with this totally. For a start Kouassi is only 20 and while he has struggled to break into the team as yet, we have seen the odd glimpse of what he can do. I for one wouldn't be keen to see him shipped out the door, certainly in some games in Europe away from home I would prefer to see us play with at least a couple of more defensive minded CM's to make us that wee bit more solid and difficult to break down. Much like the approach we see from a few teams when they come to Celtic park and something BR was never going to implement.

That bhoy has definitely got something. He was great in 1st leg against the Russians. I think if he hadn't got injured then he'd have played this season for sure.
He tried to play on after a serious injury if I remember correctly as well. So bhoy has heart tae.

A new manager might see things with kouassi differently. Just need to wait and see who is appointed.

There's a player there in Kouassi and was playing okay until injury. Would rather we gave him a fair crack over this Harper lad. Would rather him over Bitton.

The best thing would be to get him out on loan to get him some proper game time. Motherwell maybe if we go in for Turnbull?

Kouassi is rubbish, he's had chances and showed very little, he constantly passes the ball backwards. His performance away to Hearts when we lost 1-0 was enough for me that he will never be good enough, time to clear out the dead wood.

Think he needs a run of games and a good run but he's always injured and might be better cutting our losses or get him out on loan.

Absolute nonsense talk about a kid who has struggled with new culture, country and sustained a really bad injury. Certainly a player in there given some glimpses and to write players off as dead wood at 20 is wrong. Hopefully he will get another contract as he clearly has shown ability to bring him in so young.

He's sustained more than one bad injury. nobodies writing him off but the proofs in front of you he's always injured and when he has played he's been ok in some games.

Funny the way Sinclair get slatted on here when he has a few bad games but has still managed 18 goal this season and cost 3.5 million while koussai has had one decent game against the Russian side since he signed for Celtic for 3 million. Been a poor signing for the money we paid.

Before Kouassi got his bad injury in the semi final, the only injury he had before that was an ankle injury, which kept him out for only 2 months, in his career. He has had fitness issues which have also kept him out the team.
Its always been the same since we paid 3 million for him, the fans sticking up for him, saying he will come good, its not going to happen, its been another poor buy.
He is not 20,he will be 22 in December, with only one year left of a 4 year deal.

Ter 161 I was the one who mentioned the Russian game and every regular on here will tell you I am a massive fan of Sinclair who backs him to the hilt.

Kev83 l never said you said anything against Sinclair. But people have been hammering Scotty at times on here. I was simple stating that koussai was similar money and for me has been a poor signing for the money paid compared to what Sinclair has done.
