Before a ball was kicked yesterday we all new we needed a full-time manager appointed, a head of recruitment appointed and a turn over of players in and out.
The result or performance doesn't change anything. ofcourse we wanted a victory but let's all just take stock of another successful season with plenty of bumps in the road along the way.
There were posters on here wanting a team of kids played who are now slaughtering everyone and everything in green and white.
The way I see it is, this was the season for any other club to try and take a trophy from us and they all, so far, have failed miserably.
If rangers had the list of problems Celtic have had from the start of the season they would have finished mid table.
With the right appointments and recruitment of players, then yesterday's result was just another false dawn.

Things aren't as bad as you would think John I will say that. If we're on the brink of a treble when we've been poor then we only have more success to look forward to. But the club has some big decisions to make and has to sign quality, not just on the field but of it. We need to hit the ground running and get some momentum as quickly as possible for next season.

I would love for us to clinch another treble and make another bit of history for our club.
My concern though is that for whatever reason the quality of football we're playing is getting worse in each successive season. In Brendan Rodgers first season the football we played was great to watch, an unbeaten season domestically, a treble, and we even held our own against Man City a couple of times.
Last season wasn't quite as good in terms of quality but we were still streets ahead of anybody else. It would have been almost impossible to match the standards of Rodgers first season.
This season though, despite being on course for another clean sweep the football has been poor for a lot of the year. We seem to be struggling to score goals lately, the build up play is slow and uninspired, and for a team with so much to play for the players don't look as if they're enjoying their football at the moment.
I really hope we don't let this situation drift over the summer, let's not wait till we start giving up our trophies before something is done.

Yesterday showed up that some of our players are not up to it. our injury list is ridiculous and has been all season . yesterday we had Forrest kt boyata Christie Griffiths all out and lustig off early not to mention kouassi bayo arzani all missing.

What do Kouassi, Bayo, Arzani have to do with it? None of them have ever done anything for us? 🤔 and doubt that 2 of them ever will.

I think the reasons Brendan's first season was so good, can be summed up in one name, Dembelle, Moussa was leading the line, putting the fear into opposing defences and then back defending corners like his life depended on it, his enthusiasm inspired others around him, the reason Brendan's last part season wasn't as good can be summed up with same name,
