Ed007, do you think today's loss to Sevco will have any bearing on the board's managerial decision or do you think they have already made a decision regardless of the team's poor performance. HH.

{Ed007's Note - I think the decision will already have been made before today but if the choice was Lennon hopefully today will have changed their minds. His team selection - Rogic and even worse was picking young Johnston - and predictable tactics were an embarrassment today, is our only hope going forward if it's not working just keep switching wingers every 10 mins in the hope that something happens?
From what I seen out there today the players aren't comfortable playing a 4-3-3, they've been playing a 4-2-3-1 (the system the players prefer) for so long Lennon should have stuck with it and if he gets the job he can change it.
There was no energy or urgency in the team and even though that's carried over from Rodgers time when the football was dire for the last 18 months surely Lennon should have been able to inspire effort and pride in HIS team at least?}

We watched a very similar performance at ibrox in December only this performance was worse. Some people said last week we should play the under 20s at ibrox and minimise the risk of injuries. Well after watching that yesterday, at least the under 20s would’ve shown desire, commitment, no fear, and gave everything for the 90 minutes. We got none of that from those players yesterday and given the huge salaries they’re on they should reimburse every one of the 800 fans who paid to go watch that shambolic performance. It was bad enough to watch decembers shambles but to then go back there yesterday and put in a worse performance isn’t acceptable.

As much is my contempt for TRIFC 2012 and their lies, there is no doubt that they have progressed since the 5-0 game a year ago.
Although they lack familiar names to me, they do have a team spirit and recently a consistency that wasn't there last year.
This should be treated much the same as the RD epitaph and a sign that we have real work to do to improve - even maintain dominance.
Obviously the record books will show 8-in-a-row, but there are a few matters that need urgent attention.

The injuries to key players was a real strain on resources and stamina, but playing a whole season without a recognized striker (or two) is unheard of in a Celtic team and goals were bound to dry up. The ongoing right-back problem must be addressed as is the need to find a creative midfield player partner/ cover Christie and replace the enigmatic Rogic who has had a horrendous season.
Shved - from what I've heard should walk into the team as Sinclair seems to have had his day and like several others - looks jaded.
The most important thing is to get the right manager in pronto; to re-motivate and improve the players that are staying and replace the rest with better quality where possible?

A bhoy that's untested at a serious level should walk in to the team?

It might just be me ED but I think it looks like a few players either don't like or trust Lennon's management, We were flying after the winter break but since Lennon came back a lot of players seem well off the pace and there confidence seems to have diserted them.
Maybe its his style or he has changed something in training.
