Just wondering do you think Lawwell will up the cost of our season tickets for this upcoming season?

We no longer have the Brendan Rodgers salary we have just received 9 million in compensation for the management team and a list of players as long as your arm leaving the club again slashing the wage bill or will he just shaft the fans as usual?

Agree0 Disagree0

You do know that there are other people behind the scenes than just lawwel eh?
Do people on here think he makes every decision at Celtic?

Ok Lawwell and the board in my opinion do shaft the fans and shareholders alike here is just a few examples.

So far, under his stewardship.

He has failed to stand up for the business, when it was cheated out of millions over a decade by the previous Ibrox entity with SFA collusion.

He and the board have failed to stand up for employees, when they are kicked all around the pitch.

He and the board have failed to protect the support, still no report on the Janefield underpass crush.

He and the board have failed to protect the interest of shareholders, when he was handed evidence of collusion re Resolution 12

He has failed to support the club managers, by not following up transfer targets, let alone bringing them in. In fact, if he doesn’t like them, we don’t sign them.

I could go on so yes i do believe Lawwell and the board shaft the fans.

Stuffs shareholder?
He's turned the club into a profit making buisness. Shares are around the highest they've ever been.
😂😂😂.

Oh and under his stewardship we've also been the most successful we've been since the 60s. But we will sweep that aside eh.

It's got to the stage now Kev, some fans whether watching on telly or at the game aren't happy unless we rattle in 4 or 5 without reply. Maybe it's the younger generation who have only known us being successful and take it for granted we should win convincingly every week. I for one enjoy every victory, don't get carried away when we knock in 5 or 6 and don't overreact when we scrape a win. Maybe some need to be transported back to the 90's to realise just how good things are right now.

Hilarous mate love your total contradiction so I will quote your first reply “ You do know that there are other people behind the scenes than just Lawwell eh? Do people on here think he makes every decision at Celtic “

But now your latest posts state that “ He’s turned the club into a profit making business. Shares are around the highest they have ever been. 😂😂😂” and “ Oh and under his stewardship we’ve also been the most successful we’ve been since the 60s. But we will sweep that aside”

So In your opinion our Peter is solely responsible for all the good points you have mentioned but it’s all the other people behind the scenes for all the crap.

Absolutely Brilliant 😂😂😂.

18 Mar 2019 18:15:00
No he is not solely responsible for ANYTHING in our club.
Our club is the most professionally run clubs in the country and one of the most professionally run in UK and beyond.
Lawwel is CEO and is the business leader of the club but he does answer to a board of directors, who in turn answer to the SHAREHOLDERS. If he was SHAFTING the shareholders he wouldn't in the job easy as that.
Both on and off the park our club is highly successful.

Lawwel gets things wrong I'd admit that. Manly when he steps out of the business into the football side but in a whole he, the board and every department doing a great job.

P/ s it was YOU that first used the words under his stewardship. But again we will just put that a side to suit your argument.
