Good ińsihht by johnmpark today on our signing policy and gives all the credit to lenny for signing Virgil. might be a good idea to get this guy back he mentions oukki as well who we couldn't afford now and says he wasn't working hard enough when at Celtic.

No chance. For every 1 good signing identified, there are 10 really bad players.
Also that's a failing on John Parks behalf with Pukki. He was in charge of scouting, he should of picked that up before Pukki signed that he was effectively lazy. Sounds to me like he knew after failed spell at Schalke but decided to take chance anyway.

Point is he's a player who's doing well all be it at a smaller club and I would have park all day over congerton. Virgil wanyama forster ledley hooper ki to name a few who made the club millions they far outweighed the duds who never cost an awful lot even if you combine the fees.

Will there be a director of football in place for next season as well as a new head of recruitment? Will the potential new manager want to work under a DOF and not have a say in signings? Park done us a good turn it was strikers that was his biggest flops. We was a better team when Park was there than we are now. We just regressed under Deila.

@kev83 ah sorry kev, forgot you know it all. Joking aside you are wrong, there was a ratio of 1 good player to every 10 during Parks reign. His inability to identify a suitable striker was a popular topic on this forum in the past.
@United Ireland It wasn't fact that he wasn't given a chance, Lennon has biblically stated that not only was he not physical enough for scottish game, he had a poor attitude.
