The betting sites have got their list together of who'll be in charge at the start of next season and it's pretty uninspiring. Lenny is the favourite then it's Steve Clarke, Moyes and Larsson. It's a lot of the same old names being churned out since the first time Lenny left.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lennon and clarke would do me but I can't see Clarke being a number 2 after being a manager and already he has ruled himself out of it.

When have the bookies ever been right about a Celtic manager.

Basically they have no idea either. Henrik? He hasn't even managed in about 4 years!

{Ed007's Note - I'd even take Moyes before Larsson! Didn't he get Helsingborg relegated for the first time in their history?}

I thought I had read earlier that Clarke had ruled himself out, but I heard him on the radio last night, and he never answered the question, just sort of swerved it, although maybe he just didn't want to repeat himself.,

Can't really understand why no one here seems to keen on Neil Lennon other than for now to see out this season. He came in the last time in the same way after Moybray was sacked and then got the job on one year rolling contracts and never complained. As I see it it is difficult to plan etc if you don't know if your contract is going to be renewed or not. Then when Flash Harry comes he's given a massive 4 year contract and 9 million to spend on a project etc and he disrespects us. If Lenny manages to keep this run of trebles going I don't see why he shouldn't be considered. I know I could be completely wrong in what I am saying so I would appreciate someone to explain why he is good enough for a run in but not to get the job permanently. I certainly would not want another BR coming in and using us to reignite his career or as a stepping stone for something bigger because right from the outset they are clueless as there is nothing bigger.

We set the bar high, when DD appointed BR and although it ended bitterly, there's no denying it raised our profile and brought us record breaking success, not seen before in generations.
Obviously if NL guides the team to the other two trophies, he will be in a very strong position and having done it all before in Europe as well. he is more mature and experienced.
I reckon the appointment will be measured by keeping a healthy distance between us and the rest, because of the advantage we have.

Love henrik but as far as bringing him in as manager it’s a hell no for me! Done hee haw in the positions he’s been in and it would be a disaster! No to Moyes for me to, just something about that guy I don’t like, looks a sneaky one to me! And we’ve already just had one of them in!

Willing to give Lenny a Go at the moment, but there’s something in my gut makes me feel like I’d like to go down a fresh route in the summer! My heart says Lenny and if he wins the remaining trophies he’s got to be the front runner! But my gut says I would love a fresh approach! Heard Wagner who was at Huddersfield mentioned and think he would be a good shout!

Yes I know he didn’t set the heather alight in the top flight down there, but I liked the way he came across and his teams played good football! Done great getting that club promotion. not saying him but thinking outside the box instead of just the usual names!

I’m with you, Donjim. Lenny’s the man for the job.
