Having watched yesterdays game I have come to the following conclusions.
Firstly our signing policy for the last 18 mounths has gone badly askew.
Secondly the top teams in Scotland have improved whilst we have not.

Remedial action on both these fronts need to be adressed. Better quality signings with a degree of experience and a high number of first team games is a must, Players who can slot in with little time needed to adapt. These cannot be so old as to have no resale value.

There to we must also accept that staffing levels are too high with a number of players collecting saleries without making a significant contribution to the club.

Competition at a club like Celtic is paramount to success, therefore any player who the management feels would not progess the team over the next 18 mouths must be allowed to leave. This would free space for developing young players and bringing in new blood.

We should start now to prepare for next season.

Gordon, Ntcham, Sinclair and Brown has to be told his position and future is under threat. Lusnig that no new contract will be forecoming so to De vires Boyata, Gamboa, Simunovic. Compper, Isaguirre, Bitton. Kouassi, Allan, Benyu, and Malumbu, Hayes,

Hendry and Morgan sent out on loan to gain first team experience and toughen up.

This would free Thousands for new blood to either come in or be developed.

Brown and Ntcham together doesn't work anymore they're slow on the ball and pass backwards too much, teams know if they press us high we give the ball away too easily. That was our downfall at the start of the season. If Edouard and Tierney are good for the bench surely they should've started. Tactics all wrong and for all the great saves Gordon made a lot was largely down to poor distribution and us getting pressed at the back. This is what we should've been doing to them as their defence has been guilty of doing the same in recent weeks. Agree most teams have got stronger but our away record is shocking this season and that's let teams close the gap on us more than anything. Agree with most of them players leaving a lot of the mentioned are squad players only but it doesn't fill you with much confidence if they're on the bench to change a game when brought on especially if your strongest 11 can't get it right. Sell most of them then surely we can add a few more quality players in positions we need.

That result has been coming we've been well below par all season and its cane home to roost.

What about the ref?!?

30 Dec 2018 12:19:19
I agree Welshy; it was a really bad day - 100% self inflicted and totally avoidable; Much more of a wake-up call than a crisis.

It wasn't the ref that was playing crazy passers from the back or couldn't pass the ball to a teammate we were rank only issue I had was the buffallo should have been red carded for a few incidents and got nothing.

No excuse for performance but ref was absolutely shocking Ado. Four fouls by Moron-ess including two kick outs and two stamps and not even a booking. McGreggors ‘goal’ was marginally offside but the conservative and unionist MP on the touchline was never giving it. Strange he wasn’t shouting RED CARD RED CARD (or even YELLOW) when Brown was kicked twice at his side of the park.

FFS. Always excuses. Can’t blame the ref, linesman or politics. We were beaten by a team that were up for it while we were looking forward to a trip to Dubai. Transfer window opens this week and we will rectify the problems we have.

Can't blame the ref we never won a tackle all day. Never won a second ball or put any effort in. We were embarrassing if the ref was that poor why were the players not complaining. Simple answer they chucked it. Heartless Heartless performance. Can put up with getting beat if we leave everything on the pitch. We left everything in the dressing room.

Morelos is an animal, another game this superstar has failed to score against us.

Think next old firm 30th march if im right? We will be a far stronger unit. Felt as though we missed rogic goal scoring ability from outside box.

I don’t really agree that the other Scottish teams jabbed improved noticeably.
We have definitely went backwards with almost every BR signing failing to produce consistently for more than a year now.
Poor signings, very poor transfer window, complacency amongst players and management.
Tactically we are a one trick pony, granted when enough players have a good day we can look a decent team but when a team gets in our faces our frailties can be easily exposed.
Between now and August this team and squad needs a total revamp, BR has said on enough occasions the squad was to big, well it’s going to have to get even bigger!

A one trick pony that’s won the last 7 domestic trophies available. Get a grip!
