We can all see the Team play a lot quicker without Broony and yesterday they were a joy to watch. But, our Captain must be given a New Contract. The guy is an inspiration to the rest of the Squad and there's going to be times when we need him to come off the Bench to slow things down. He will step up and deliver when he's required.
Broony must be here to Lift the 10 in a Row League Title.
Scott Brown is Truly a Celtic Great!

Spot on GT10 if I said anything I’d just be repeating what you’ve said verbatim. One of our greatest captains and a Celtic legend.

Broonys no daft he knows the score he'll way up his options, he's already a Celtic legend, the question for him is does he stay for 10 and play less and go down as the captain that delivered although playing less or move for a pay day which he has every right to do.

I believe Scott brown is the highest earner at celtic Park, if Scott wanted to stay at celtic I would make him take a huge wage drop, he's down the pecking order, nctham was playin better than brown before they both got injured, brendan and the board hav a big decision when it comes to the outcome, what eva the decision Scott brown has been an incredible player and captain for us so I would wish him all the best what eva happens.

As far as I’m concerned he should get whatever he wants form the club as said above he is a club legend too many in the past have been discarded by the club and only later got the recognition they deserved.

I agree. Scott Brown deserves another deal. Whether he play's is a different matter. To have him around the dressing room is a boost to the squad and we'll need him for games, horse's for courses and all that. A great servant who loves our club, but ultimately it will be his decision in the end. He's naturally fit and in my opinion would merit a two year deal.

09 Dec 2018 15:40:15
I hav no problem giving brown a new deal, he certainly does merit one, but he can't get the same wage if he's going to be a bit part player, thts all am sayin, we hav to think smartly as a business.

I’d like to think BR’s man management skills are a wee bit better than yours Cmc. Who decided our captain is going to be a bit part player anyway?

09 Dec 2018 18:00:05
Is that you Peter?

09 Dec 2018 21:08:39
COYBIG am just looking at the picture, I'm maybe being a bit disrespectful to broonie by sayin wat I did coz if anyone can get ther self bak in the team and stay ther it's definitely the captain, am just sayin if the team keeps going and brown ain't playin as much, you can't expect him to be on the sort off wage he's on, but am sure your right about br man management skills.

I think there’s too many people writing Broonie off too quickly but even if he is going to play less, you can’t tell someone of Brown’s stature that he can get a new deal for less money. He’s the guy that makes sure the rest of them toe the line and that’s massively important in a dressing room.

The other thing that Broonie does when he’s on the pitch is he bosses the whole game and that means our players, the opposition players and even to an extent, the officials. I think KT and Calmac are both capable of captaining the side but they’ve a few years to go before they could do it the way Broonie does. Would anybody fancy being a goal down at the asbestos dome without Broonie on the park?
