Thete are two ways of looking at SPL table today. From one perspective the facts are (1) the huns are only two points behind (2) they've scored considerably more goals 32 against our 27 and (3) have the same goal difference + 21. This is being interpreted in Govan as meaning that they are coming. OR from another perspective (1) we have had a poor start to the season until recent weeks (2) we'd our transfer windae panned in as somebody on here commented which I thought was a cracker (3) we got horsed out CL none of which did much for the confidence (4) the press had the dressing room split and (5) Rodgers leaving (6) yet we're still top of the league and they're no (7) there's only 12 games played and league means nothing as titles aren't won in November and (8) we'll be out of sight and romp the league over the season. The second is my interpretation.

5 goals more isn't considerably more, they only scored 7 today after they got another penalty and Motherwell went down to 10 men, until then it was 1-1.

Reckon Tim will have had his usual bet on that 'double whammy'.
We have been absolutely magnificent in recent weeks and even though it was hard going today, we had enough possession and chances to win. However, we go into the enforced 'waste of time' break, top of the league where we belong and come back ready for another three away SPL fixtures in a row (outwith the Hamden cup final and a EL game in Norway) ) that the SPFL random fixture computer has thrown up.
Next home game is on Dec 8 against Kilmarnock - but skint, travel weary supporters will be glad of the three home games in a row after the winter break in January, unless there's another beast from the east blizzard and they're postponed until the week before the CL qualifiers ha ha?
