Hello, fellow Celts. Another impressive win today. Glad to see players like Christie taking their chances when they are presented. We really seem to kicking it up a gear, and I was just wondering if anyone else has wondered about Scott Brown's impact on the center of the park. Is it possible that his absence has actually been a sort of blessing in disguise? What I mean by that is - I wonder if his injury has given other players a chance to step up, rather than play a cup game or a home game against the bottom half of the table. I think Scott Brown is everything that a Celtic player should be, but has anyone else thought about this, or am I way off? Looking forward to hearing from you all.

Was going to pose a similar question. Either way you cut it the tempo, energy and ultimately the performances speak for themselves over the last few games.

That doesn’t necessarily mean it’s down to Broony. Think about the hammerings we dished out to Sevco last year and the tempo of our game in these fixtures when Broony was instrumental in our performances. It’s inevitable that he’ll bow out at some point in the next few years and it’s great that we appear to have his successor already in place but I think he’s still got a good year or two left in him.

I agree, as much as I love Brown I don't think he can expect to walk straight back into the starting 11 on current form.

It will be interesting to see who plays in the middle of the park when all of the center midfielders are healthy. The way certain players have picked up the slack, it seems like a nice problem to have. Hail hail!

I don't think any player should walk straight back in to team, especially when we are flying but I don't think it's down to Brown being out that we are.
Almost every player was playing below par at the start of the season and there wasn't a great feeling around the club.
But now everyone seems to have shrugged off that feeling. I thunk there has been some serious clear the air meetings gone on.
Now all players look to be getting back to their best and getting their confidence back.
An other part is that guys like Boyd and others have made our Bhoys angry and that was a big mistake.

It goes without saying Brown is a Celtic legend but l have to agree that the pace of the game has changed since his injury. Now not for a second am l saying it is because he is out but we seem to have an urgency now to get the ball forward and at pace which wasn't there before. Callum has been sensational in the holding role and looks made for that position. Maybe Brown can slot in beside him when he returns but it's going to be very hard for him to get back with the team in this form.

Think broony will go straight in we done the double treble with him so there can't be too much wrong.

We have players that can replace Broony with ability but do we have anyone that comes close to his passion? I know that emotions aren't everything but when they're wrapped up in a package of ability, determination and experience then a fit Broony is a more difficult player to replace. HH.

Totally agree Bob, he’s a great captain and for that reason I think he’ll go straight back in. He’s got that air of confidence and authority about him that great leaders have and that can have a massive effect in key moments in a game. One day Tierney or McGregor will take over the mantle but neither of them have the personality yet to do what he does.
