Why when we have a "bloated" squad do we keep signing squad players? Every window we sign 1-3 players who are on the bench at best. Yes they may be cheap but when the first team needs investment why fritter wages?

Good point Brendan said it was quality over quantity and then we sign guys like mulumbu and hayes gamboa put all the money together we've spent on they types and you d get a class player.

The club have over a full team of 'passengers' that rarely feature at all in the managers plans:-
De Vries
Gamboa Simunovic Compper Izzaguire
Arzani Allen Bitton Eboue Benyu
Hayes
Leaving Bain, Ralston, Hendry, Ajer, Mulumbu, Johnston, Griffiths, Sinclair and Christie to add to the starting 11 that beat Hibs.
Obviously we need cover for every position, but we scertainly need to offload quite a lot of deadwood to raise cash for better quality. The wage bill is around £63m and obviously there will be players reluctant to leave on current wages and of course there's the problem of persuading other clubs to take our 'rejects' without losing money in the long run; but we do need to downsize.

Once think you'd need to take bitton out that list as Rogers is a fan and he would have played more if fit.
