Have you all noticed the not so subtle attempts by the Scottish media to lull Centic into complacency.
Apparently Leipzig "are struggling in the Bundesliga, " DESPITE still being 4th in a strong league. Their star goalscorer Werner "is suffering from burnout" and "Leipzig have injury problems"
Er so have Celtic with Brown and Griffiths struggling. Want to bet Werner "suddenly finds his goalscoring form on Thursday" Couple that to our poor away form Leipzig SHOULD be confident, not us.

Leipzig are actually 5th in a very competitive Bundesliga and far from struggling. Thursday night will be a tough ask for us.

I can go back several decades watching Celtic and I can't remember us beating many German teams in European competition - maybe two or three wins in all - so we always find them tough opponents.
I don't expect a win, but another good performance like the last two or three games, might get us a wee result?
If not, I won't be too disappointed as long as we continue to pummel domestic opponents and retain our trophies.

Thursday night will be the same old story. We have seen it time after time on our away games in Europe. Hopefully we can get a point and an away win V Rosenborg and another 2 wins at home.

A 3-1 wouldn't be such a terrible result against this kind of opposition but I'd hope the home tie would be a much closer fought game.
