I'm concerned at the changing of established policy and rules by both the SFA and SPFL to assist Sevco TRFC.

The recent example is the non allocation of Hampden briefs on a 50/ 50 % basis to Aberdeen and TRFC. Holding thousands of Aberdeen briefs for the cup semi and giving them to TRFC.

Celtic has partook in years of semis and finals at Hampden and told they could not get extra seats as it was a 50/ 50 sporting integrity split (resulting in thousands of empty unsold seats) . The SFA/ SPFL clearly delighted in empty seats rather than Celtic fans in them.

Has Hearts had the allocation at Murrayfield reduced by thousands to hand to 60,000 Celtic fans? If not, why not?

Tbh it's about time glory hunters were stopped from denying fans who go week in week out a ticket👍.

Won’t happen corporate barstewrds will still get their allocation.

I don't see what's wrong with giving each club 50/ 50. Both have worked to get to a semi final.
But what should happen is you must sell section by section and if you can't sell out the rest should be offered to the other team.

Didn't you know that whenever there has been a Celtic v Rangers semi or final that the that mob got slightly more than us every time and it was never 50/ 50 split due to the stadium design or that was the excuse they gave anyway.

The issue is policy change on the hoof by a select closed doors few at Hampden instead of putting the issue to the 42 SPFL clubs for democratic determination.

Curious it’s always done when required for TRFC benefit and never done if it would assist Celtic.

On the upside, all those extra ticket sales to TRFC fans will go into Aberdeen coffers. I think the rule is into their bank account within three days of the game 😃.

Aberdeen have been given around 21000 tickets.
Originally told they had around 16000 and had to sell them by a certain date to get more.
I think that is a very sensible way to do it.

Problem was with all the carry on and hold up over venues, it gave them no time to sell the 16000 properly so they demanded the rest.
Which they were quite entitled to do.

A lot of people on this page demand equality in Scottish football but seems like they only want it to work in our favour.

Kev, TRFC we’re allocated an initial 26,000 and Aberdeen had to argue to get more than 16,000. The SPFL plan was to give TRFC 29,500. Last year in Oct 2017 Celtic and Aberdeen got a 50/ 50 split argued on sporting integrity and fairness by the SPFL.

It was known Celtic could bring an extra 40,000 to the game and Aberdeen would never sell their allocation. But the SPFL were having none of it.

There were 10,000 empty seats and four times that in Celtic season ticket holders and others who wanted to go.

Hibs were the same.

So it’s all change in policy at short notice to assist TRFC.

Kev, I agree it’s a sensible way to do it if the same rules apply to both semi finals but It’s clearly unfair to give Sevco the lions share of the tickets at Hampden but insist on a 50/50 split of the tickets at Murrayfield. That’s one of the most blatant abuses of power I can remember since Jim Farry delayed Jorge Caddete’s registration.

I don't think the sfa will allow empty seats with this one, unless hearts pay for them, it must have cost a fortune to rent murrayfield. It holds about 67,000. Say they take 17,000 for corporate ( no idea if that's accurate) that leaves 50,000 to share, if they can sell 25,000 fair enough but if they don't they will either have to buy them or they come to us surely.
