Excellent day's work, the players were totally dominant from start to finish today and hopefully that's the performance that really gets our season going.

The leauge table is looking a lot better after this weekend, if we can return to the top in the next few weeks then I think the players spark will return.
If they have finally found a way to break down the ten man wall that most teams put against us then they have no other tactical options, they can't keep the ball from us, and they will begin to fear playing us again.
The next few games with the League cup semi are crucial to building momentum and we need to play with the drive we did today.

Good day and having benkovic fit a and sumo is a massive bonus.

Everybody turned up today for a change . we played a high tempo forwsrd passing game with everybody completing their passes quickly and more impotatanly making the right pass at the right time. some good one pass football using good angles. speed and movement to go round through and past the opposition . hopefully we've got out of that monotonous slow side to back to side then repeat style we've been stuck with 'recently.

Great result.

I joined this site as a first time poster on Friday, but I got some things right already:

I explained the importance of having midfielders with beautiful blond hair. James Forrest clearly went out and dyed his hair golden and . voila! Four goals!

I said if Hibs can thrash Hamilton 6-0 then Celtic should beat St Johnston 6-0. voila! 6-0.

I said Celtic were an £80m squad and St J £7.5m and that KT alone was worth more (ditto Edouard, Boyatta and big Filip) . voila! An £80m performance.

Third spot in SPFL with one point behind Hibs and only three to Hearts. TRFC remain where they were on Friday in sixth spot. Despite the capitulation of Hearts, no improvement to position at all for TRFC. I’ll leave Hearts fans to judge their players.

An away win with a clean sheet.

A massive goal difference improvement.

At least 9 defenders now fit.

Another excellent goal from Odsonne. A very physical commanding presence.

Hearts will be very apprehensive after this weekend regarding the cup semi at Murrayfield. Their gameplay against the sixth placed team was poor.

Brendan has had four transfer windows now. He had three excellent windows and further signed 7 in the summer. Two new signings played at Perth; big Filip and big Odsonne. Mulumbu played very well in Austria. three good additions. No manager can expect to get all his targets in every window. Brendan will have other windows. We must stay positive and move on from temporary setbacks rather than dwell on them.

It appears everyone has indeed moved on, put the recent pish behind them, and the champions are back in the groove.

Hail Hail The Celts are here.

Is there anyway big lustig could dye his hair blonde 😂😂.

Excellent post Grey Heid, in stark contrast to the hysterical pish we’ve seen here recently. I’m hopeful that we’ll string a run of results together now but we’ve got some hard games ahead of us so we shouldn’t expect it all our own way. Hibs and Kilmarnock have got top class managers and I think they’ll cause everyone problems this year. I see them both becoming a force to be reckoned with in the next few years so these are exciting times for Scottish football. Hearts have started better than anyone but I think they’ll run out of steam and whilst the Sevvies look a bit better than they were last year, I think they’re going to struggle to keep up.

COYBIG,
I can’t see the Sevvies achieving higher than fourth this season. They have a very Green manager. Very very inexperienced. He won’t have answers.

As the season progresses, the £80m Celtic 35 man squad will provide quality and depth incomparable in Scotland. Hearts and Hibs will succumb to injuries and cold weather hamstrings and knocks, without quality in depth they’ll struggle to match Celtic but continue to sit above TRFC.

Griff has declined Scotland duty to focus on 12 day’s fitness training for his club. That’s the drive and commitment we want.

The Terrible Treble Treble Terrifies TRFC.

I agree. My prediction at the start of the season for the final league positions was Celtic, Kilmarnock, Hibs, Aberdeen and Sevco. Hearts have thrown a wee bit of a spanner in the works but I still think I won’t be too far away.
