Isn't it about time lawell came out and told us what the effs going on, even sevcos dodgy chairman at least comes and speaks to the gullibles, getting the impression lawells treating us like the gullibles.

With only Ajer fit, Boyata wanting away, Compper deal a disaster, Hendry injured and not god enough, Simunovic injured and not good enough where's the urgency from the board to get this clusterfu*k sorted. Still no news or even word that we are working on this matter asap. Ed have you head anything? I will be gutted along with most of our fanbase if nothings done about this shambles at the back.

If Compper was ever fit then he would have probably been good for Ajer and Hendry. If he can stay fit now he may have some part to play but the chances of that are incredibly slim given what’s happened so far.

It is about time, he first came in and wanted to clear debt. Job done. Then he wanted to build finance and imrpvoe some off the field stuff. That's done.

We now have money in the bank, success and a chance to build on it and blow away the competition while getting some decent Euro nights.

but instead we are back to spending zero. Which is in Lawwells best interest as he gets a bonus due to our finances so he never will spend without balancing the books.

but really we are going to go nowhere doing that. One step forward and two steps back. Time to build on success and not go stagnant.

Compper a disaster, hayes bang average, kouassi 3 mill and looks average, gamboa won't do, Hendry looks out his depth, jozos hopeless and always injured, boyata saga a shambles, even ajer is starting to make mistakes, throw in eddys injury and the mousses, but apart from all that I think things are looking up.

I am all for keeping the books balanced really its a must But we must have enough to freshin up the squad with good quality or the scouting system we have is not working not saying we have to spend millions Just feels like something is wrong just now And why we didn't do that at the start of the window open I just can't understand.

Tesla very good statement but untrue . Peter Lawwell is given many different targets to meet, not solely financial. The Board monitors his progress towards meeting these various targets and allocates appropriate bonuses to him .

Mallythetally . P L doesn't hold a similar position to D King, the lying Chairman .
I would hope we never stoop so low that we would want our Chairman Ian Bankier would stoop as low as King of Rangers 2012.

Chris i am not saying he's on a par with the lying king god forbid am saying at least he tells the gullibles what's happening even if it is a lie 😂😂.

24 Aug 2018 18:29:41
The statement Chris is not untrue. All his commitments is based towards making money, including any team performance targets.

but Lawwell knows if we spent £40mil say on the squad and then made the CL groups 3 times.

He knows he can spend less and say qualify twice out of the 3, spending less money, but earning us the same profits without the risk of spending as much.

it's a low risk strategy he is taking and it guarantees him his bonus every year.

He even took his bonus under Deila and Mowbray, which most CEOs would have been chased for.

That always made me smile thru the rubbish years OAB.

Tesla You don't seem to understand P Lawweell 's role with Celtic . Neither P L wages or bonuses are based on success of the Celtic 1st team and that is why he was able to get his Bonuses when Delia and Mowbray were present .
I am quite sure B R would not have his CEO depending on team's success or anything else football related as it would be tying BR hands.
