Why is he we constantly hear that we spend every penny we make on the team, yet we have money in the bank that isn’t touched . It would be nice if Lawwell came out and at least explained why we aren’t making signings. If we are not careful the fractures in the relationship between board and manager could be harder to repair.

Are you saying we should spend till we don't have any money in the bank?

That's not what we hear at all Quinn. We're told that all money brought in is invested back into the "club" through one way or another. This includes upgrades like The Celtic Way as well as transfers etc.

Players wages gone up with new contracts. We also need to get rid of the dead wood who take big wages too. I would rather the books were balanced.

The money in the bank gets taxed Kev so it is best to spend every dime.

It always seems that the board refuse to get players in until our European fates decided. It was always going to be harder qualifying this year with the extra round and better quality we could draw yet we go in even weaker than last season. Can't see many being signed now it'll be a few loans in to compensate for the loss of the CL bounty.

My mistake kevbhoy, they do say that. My argument would be then that surely team funds come before anything else . I said last week in a post that we could be using our new 2million pounds lighting system for Livingston or Kilmarnock if we aren’t careful. In my opinion I go to watch Celtic, the team play, not a light show or a new hotel, even Celtic way. What’s people’s opnions here, would they prefer a better team or better experience? I know what I’d prefer.
