I was just speaking to a friend about the game today, and I think the 2nd half team would definitely finish in the top 6, but the 1st team today were good, the French connection and mcgregor outstanding, hopefully if we qualify for CL, we get a decent group, think we will do ok ðŸ‘.

Totally agree Jamie, the talent we have at our club is the best since the early 2000's, the difference is this squad are so young and can only get better. The 3 Frenchmen are top notch and must always be starters, we must find a way to play Edouard and Dembele at the same time, you can't leave talent like that warming the bench. Would be difficult to leave out Brown, McGregor, Tierney or Forrest . Ajer is starting to become un-droppable also, so that leaves only 2 outfield places left which I believe could be strengthened. Personally I prefer Simo to Boyota and love Lustig but feel we could get better. Now the good bit Sinclair, Griffiths, Rogic (how can you leave out Tam) 🤔 Young Morgan, Biton, Hendry, Ralston and Mikey Johnstone (What a talent) loved his dink finish today, are all more than capable of coming in and doing a job. Anyone got any fear that 8 won't be delivered 😂😂🤣🤣.

Don't want to put the hoodoo on things, but this is one of the best planned and executed pre-seasons (including a difficult away qualifying tie) I can remember for many a year.
The squad looks sharp, harmonious and confident and there are still a few players to return - or added in the next few weeks.
I honestly don't give a flying feck what the gutter press and the deluded hordes profess about Sevco Steve and his tribute act.
The undisputable fact is we are light years ahead in class, skill, professionalism, experience, talent and potential of anyone els.

Hey Jamie very good point no need to scream from the heavens about signings then tho I am sure a couple will come in.
Any idea why Morgan not played I looking forward to seeing him play.

What a wonderful day . First our pitch looked brilliant and if plays like that all season I think we will be unplayable . All our players seemed at ease passing the ball quickly and acurately .
I think we have seen how to play our two strikers and their understanding will only get better . The second team were very good going forward with their movement and passing .
I imagine Lewis Morgan has picked up a wee knock in training, no mystery .
Of course we want McGinn and one or two others but that's when Brendan Rodgers real problems will begin, too many top footballers for too few places, at least until we get injuries suspensions and loss of form . We seem to have a very united squad with everyone getting on, but when good players are not getting played regularly they can be troublesome .
