In addition Fiat, who sponsor Juventus paid the transfer fee.

Fiat workers are striking because they think the money should be invested in the factory . And rightly so.

{Ed007's Note - Fiat halved their debt and made a profit of 3.5 billion Euros last year and it's not Fiat that own Juventus, it's the Agnelli family (EXOR who made 143 billion Euros last year) that own both, well they only own 66.7% of Juventus and 29.18% of Fiat Chrysler but do control both - otherwise there is no business connection between the two.
I've no idea what the workers are hoping to do but it seems a bit stupid to me considering the rise in income Juventus will get from marketing Ronaldo, it's like Dermot Desmond's workers moaning that we signed Edouard.}

The workers are only striking at one plant (Fiat Chrysler have 7 plants) , it's one of the smaller plants too so it isn't going to affect production very much anyway and it's the one where there is a strong union representation. As Ed said, Juve are not owned by Fiat Chrysler. HH.

{Ed001's Note - it is the Jeep factory as Jeep are the shirt sponsors.}
