Ed, Haven’t watched a single game but if the Brexiteers win the World Cup I’ll run around Parkhead naked then immigrate to lovely Derry on the banks of the Foyle where nobody would give a feck anyway. If Celtic isn’t playing and to a lesser extent if Scotland aren’t in the World Cup am no interested although the little Englanders winning it is enough as pit me aff ma next pint a Guinness and curry! ☘ï¸.

Wholeheartedly agree Ed that the French or Belgians will beat them. But spare a thought for us poor sods who live in eng-er-land cos it's a living nightmare right now and the far right are feeding off it.

Croatia were FIFA ranked 20th in the world prior to the competition, Russia ranked 70th, England 12th but France 7th and Belgium 3rd, if that’s anything to go by leaves an open unpridictable World Cup final winner.

The suspiciously unbalanced draw format - possibly to suit Russia (and shock result or two) has literally paved the way for England.
They have beaten the more mediocre teams in the competition - apart from Belgium - and lost to them apparently on purpose to ensure the easier route to the final.
I can see them reaching the final and then although they will be the weaker of the two finalists, it's only a VAR penalty - or a Russian linesman between they feckers and never-ending purgatory.
The consolation prize is what it will do for the SNP referendum plans - apart from the Sevco Sassenach society with the 'Tangerine' strips, union jack deck chairs and god-ugly wives.

all good points but, bottom line, they have beaten the teams they were drawn against and are going about their business in a professional manner.
I don't want them to win it but they have as good a chance as the other semi-finalists.
I don't mind them wining for the players but its the bloody media and especially Lineker and Shearer that get on nerves.
1966 is ad enough, can you imagine how it would be this time?
I said Belgium before it started so, fingers crossed.
