@ Old Man Chris

Chris I could not care less about the 100 loans you are talking about. We are discussing the successful ones from current squad - Ajer, Christie and McGregor. As i have said below I am happy to go with what Ajer himself has said about his loan at Kilmarnock, and what Brendan said. Performances alone show it was a success but you go on believing your own opinion over Ajer and BR. You have a distorted view on loan deals and now you are trying to convince yourself you are correct by saying Ajer said it was a success so he doesn't get his window smashed in by Killie fans. Seriously wisen up that is complete garbage. You have an opinion which you are entitled to but this opinion that loans do not work and that players are better not playing in the SPL they are better sitting in the stand at CP but being trained all week by our coaches is quite frankly ridiculous. Ajers loan was a success and the quicker you get over you clear hatred of an ex Sevco player you might have a different opinion on the matter. I have not spoken to one Celtic fan who has said Ajers loan was not a success, but then again i have never comes across a Celtic fan who believes their opinion is the only opinion that matters. You are wrong about Ajers loan, and Christies. Infact you will probably hope Christie gets sold or has a crap season ahead just to say i told you so. Well i hope he has a great season ahead to shut you up and your nonsense view on loans and our players you seem to think are not in Rodgers plans. Thee end.

BR spoke of how well he was treated and COACHED by Killie, he even has had elbows at Lennoxtown a few times. Anyone who does not see a huge improvement in Ajer must be blind. He's learned to defend at Killie, no we polish him. Christie, who should hit the ground running, will be the same. Hit and miss the loaning players but, Ajer and Cal mac have worked well. Thank you Ronny, a bit of an unsung hero i think.

Well said. HH.

Old Chris seems to think he knows the mind if Rogers. I don’t know if he ever played football, but to suggest that playing every week somehow hinders development is beyond belief. But we all know Chris knows best in all things Celtic :)

Frankensteins Bhoy. PL's mind, DD's tash, BR's heart, Broonies body. 😆.

No brainer. Send a player out on loan in the same league the team are playing in or leave him stewing in the stand week to week yet asking him to bust a gut training. Examples were Christie, Allan and Ralston out on loan to The team who came second, a close fourth and a Championship team involved in playoffs. Great experience for the lads and gave them all a sense of importance to their respective teams. As with Ajer, it makes them hungry to come back and fight for a spot in the Celtic squad. It's all up to them now. Ajer benefited hugely by going to Kilmarnock who gave him an automatic start which rated him as one of their best players last season.
That's why the big teams loan the kids out.

Great post Stan. You are bang on.

Whole post spot on Stan.

Chris when you read this is it is not a personal attack because we had a disagreement a few weeks back over me saying it was a scientific fact Paddy is a better player than Forrest. You are too old to get the 'Anchorman' pun 😆 I'm hoping a day will arrive when i can post that i totally agree with you. This is just my opinion on loans and it is clearly very different to yours. As i said don't take it as a personal attack this page is all about opinions. I will agree with someone today and more often than not disagree with them the following day and i wouldn't have it any other way.

I hate it when people say it is a fact, when it is obviously not, .

You hate it Aindoh? Have you seen Anchorman? It's called humour. If simple things like that were making me hate id be going for councelling. What a happy positive bunch we have on here 😂.

What is thing 'humour'?

Going for 55 is the best example of humour I’ve heard since the Four Candle sketch.
