Great catching up on all the videos and pics from the entire weekend. One thing that stands out in it all is the togetherness amongst the staff, players and fans. The tweets have been a good read and in particular Dembeles, would not be surprised to see him sign long term i think he is really happy with guys like Ntcham and Edouard being here. The reaction of Griffiths on the bus was hilarious, these guys all want to play every week but they are also happy to see their team mates doing well. To go into next season with Dembele, Griffiths and Edouard will be fantastic. We have a midfield that is quite frankly as good as we have ever had. Big Boyata was immense on Saturday, he has been for 5 games running and i hope he stays. Wee Paddy looks heartbroken to be leaving and i think he saw what we were as a club on bus and on sunday and even after what he said i would not be shocked to see him back at CP. A very young squad on the up with great youngsters coming through, expecting to see lots of Johnston and also Kouassi next season. We are in a very good place, on and off the field.

Good post Stan. LG deserves to celebrate after his contribution over the season, but one thing I love about LG is that despite being desperate to play he celebrates wins he doesn't even feature in, as if he had. That's exactly what you want in a rotation player.

It was a joy to watch Jim. Seeing him with the scarf and throwing tshirts to the fans was as good as the result itself. I think Bain, Ajer and Rogic set the tone for the weekend by signing long term deals. I think there is more to come on players signing long term deals.

I'd lije to see McGregor get a new deal, and that's with having no idea how long he has left, though I don't think he's signed one the past couple years off the top of my head. Bar Brown he's impressed me the most and I'm more concerned about getting him the wage he deserves and a long term deal than I am with Rogic. Great to see a youth product starting to establish himself as one of the most important team members imo.

{Ed007's Note - McGregor just signed a new deal round about September/October taking him up to 2021.}

He's been outstanding Jim. Was just saying last week he's as valuable as KT in my eyes. Ed i wonder will the club do something similar to what they did with KT, don't think he was long in signing a contact and was then given a new one, more cash and extension. Maybe same done with McGregor? 5 or 6 year deal. It's amazing to think plenty of our players still have their best days ahead of them.

{Ed007's Note - Unless McGregor pushes for a better contract I'd leave him be, there's no need to spend money you don't have to.}

If paddy REALLY wanted to stay here he could get it sorted a year left on his contract am sure Man City would be reasonable about fee.

{Ed007's Note - His City contract has 2 years to run on it.}

Cheers Ed. Sounds familiar now you day that I think I even said on here how great it was 🤣👍

Stan he's one of my faves right niw and one of the first on the team sheet. Really looking forward to seeing if he can kick on yet again.

I suppose that is the joy of having Tims living the dream Ed. He is a lad that you never hear complain. Just thought his play merits the same as what they did with KT.

{Ed007's Note - I'd have picked McGregor for POTY behind Brown.55 games, 12 goals and 8 assists and he played giving 100% in any position he was asked to.}

21 May 2018 21:35:57
Aye a good shout Ed. God knows how many times i have watched his goal from sat it's an absolute peach. Really enjoying this unique footage Celtic tv release 2 days after a game it's fantastic. We really do seem to be improving all aspects off the field.

{Ed007's Note - The whole Club is on the up mate and for the first time in a long while we're acting like a big club.}

21 May 2018 23:18:24
Agree 100% mate good times! Just need to keep growing and improving.

{Ed007's Note - Like Fergus McCann insisting on a bigger capacity than Ibrox, investing in projects like the hotel complex will ensure revenue streams for years to come. Other projects like the The Celtic Way and the new light and sound system enhance the stadium and the matchday experience while the new state of the art pitch will help the players and further add to the quality of the stadium.}

pity they can't use the money to put a team on the park to compete in europe.
