It was a nothing game today however we need to be much better next season. Rangers can't be worse, they can get better. Hail Hail.

The magnificent 'invincible' season was always going to be a benchmark for BR and the team, but in reality it may never be equaled again as everything fell into place perfectly last season.
This season has seen numerous injuries and form dips, resulting in 33 less goals scored and the winning margin drop to nine points - from the previous years 30, with us losing four games and drawing ten and although it does show the performances have not been as convincing and the gap between first and second has closed, we are still by far the top side in the country, but we do need to keep improving and adapting to maintain our superiority.
There's no doubt most teams raise their game and pack their defense against the Champions - that's the way it always is - but we really need to work on overcoming these tactics and especially making maximum use of set-pieces, as we do earn a fair amount every game, but waste far too many.

There was nothing at stake today so the result wasn't important. It's just a bit disappointing though that we finished the season with 2 home matches yet failed to score in either of them. I do think that we need to address this in the summer.
Just a small point, and it has nothing to do with the result today, but how is the amount of injury time worked out? . In the first half there was no injury time at all, and in the second half there was only 2 minutes despite there being six substitutions, an Aberdeen goal, and the trainer being on the field. I was always led to believe that there should be 30 seconds added for each substitution and 30 seconds for each goal scored, that's before the time for any actual injuries.
This isn't complaining about the result today, I'm not sure we would have scored if we'd been playing for another half an hour, it's just that in England they seem to add on 4, 5, or 6 minutes at the end of a game. It seems to be quite a big difference.

Would it be too difficult in this age of digital timepieces and and other ways of measuring time, to have someone somewhere pressing a button for every stop and start in play, and working out the added time, better make that two people of different persuasions to rule out any accusations of bias.

The game yesterday was a nothing game as the players wouldn't want an injury before our hopefully history making game next Saturday. Hail Hail.

Celtic team by their outstanding achievements last season and this deserve to be able to take their foot off the pedal in games of little importance . The vast majority of our supporters on forums and in our stands understand the need for the team to preserve some strength and enthusiam to a more important game.
