One great statement during commentary today was regarding Broon that they've never seen a player that enjoyed getting kicked as much! How he's matured he just takes it and knows that taking the three points and lifting the trophies is where you get your revenge. Naismiths tackle was a shocker though and a straight red for me.

Naismith was particularly nasty today and a few of our players were lucky not to be badly injured by the wee fud.

I think Brendan Rodgers let us down by not commenting on treatment of Broon it’s happening every week with KT also a target. It’s certainly a bigger problem than the length of grass. The nearer we get to 10 the harder the kickings Broon will take and Brendan should publicly comment now.

I think BR knows that the world and his wife knows SB and KT are blatant targets, he’s playing the media brilliantly in not getting emotional involved with their bait. It’s up to the football authority’s to embarrass themselves once again.

{Ed007's Note - I don't think Brown would like Rodgers to mention it tbh, he thrives on the physical side of the game and would maybe see that as a sign of weakness. The way he's learned to not react is another example of his maturity and class.}

Jfp he did comment on it.
He said: "You only need to see it. The ball was gone and the follow through is there to see. "

"The ball was well gone and it wasn't just late, it was very late. It will be just interesting to see what the authorities make of that. "
