I’m a bit drunk here but I’m sick of total humiliation in Europe.
Yet again another flop, another heavy defeat in Europe.
I really couldn’t give a rubbish how sevco, rangers old dead team shite
We are celebrating us making £20m profit, and having £ms In The bank. what difference does that make to us supporters, we’ve had goal keeper, & defence problems for donkeys, and for anyone to say convincingly tonight that we will win the league in a cantor is living in a different planet. Watching Sunday then tonight, we have a lot of very average players, not just the defence that needs sorting.

Agree3 Disagree3

Someone needs to take responsibility for this. Its obvious that we weren't equipped to compete with Europe's elite given that we couldn't manage a makeshift back 3 on a domestic turn. So there's a problem. And the goalie situation too: I get that BR is loyal to his players. But we are surely too famous a club to have to scramble for a B-or C-keeper because the one we have on the books is on loan to a club he won't play for, and who hasn't a look in in our side, while our recognised number one is questioned by the supporters anyway.

You can take a horse to water.

If the board were serious about Europe, let's face it, they_ would_ have invested. They are business men. They did not.

It follows, I think, that the business model that is being pursued pays lip service only to European success. Its a feint. Its a lie. Despite the gate money and the revenue and the participation royalties, this board have found a financial model that rewards shareholders a little more very year. That's the aim. Forget the rest. Maximize the domestic disparity while it lasts (and long may it last) . Build some infrastructure (like the banks like to do, immutable capital, rent) : a hotel maybe.

That hotel is working against our team almost by definition.

For the fans, this result is an unfortunate event. But for the board--lets face it--_this_ is the plan. Things have worked out as they should and ought.

We are at a crisis point therefore. Having been 'saved' by Capital (Fergus) are we also prepared to die by Capital?

Same old same old, we just keep throwing it away and falling short. If we don't invest in players to our maximum safe level then these are the results we can expect to get. It ain't rocket science, if you keep on doing what you've always done you'll keep on getting what you always got.
Domestic dominance can be greatly affected when we continually get thumped in Europe. The 10m (or whatever it is) is meaningless if it destroys the morale within the team.
I take no comfort from my prediction that we would be KO'd even after last week's performance but I think we all knew what was on the cards. Ah well, onwards and upwards I guess. HH.

We had vvd all of 75 million in defence he couldn't stop it nor could he win a treble.

Sammy the defence is a shambles right now. There is no excuse for Rogers. He’s had four goes at improving it and it has actually got worse with Dorus in there. We need to spend the money being salted away for share dividends and a respectable bank balance and get in better players.

If we don’t that cl money isn’t going to be there. Appalling management of the team, staggering in with the same problem year after year. I was totally convinced even our board would realise we needed to invest. It was the number one area needing improved. Hendry didn’t even get on last night. That tells you all you need to know about him being the answer we need now.

This summer is again vital. Will the batter the kid aff the tin or proceed with their Three Hail Mary’s approach?

It should be a no brainer. With our board, nothing is a no brainer, apart from their inbuilt aversion to invest in areas screaming out for change.

Rogers cred will never get him to a club better than ours if he doesn’t fix it. Four goes and it’s actually worse. There’s no getting away from that. This summer they had better fix it ir long term we are sliding back down the hill.
