I don't think we can blame the pitch today. We have played on it many times before and won, including earlier in the season, so we should have known what to expect.
I believe that we need to change our transfer policy, we have to occasionally buy players in who are an improvement on what we have at present. We've been saying all season that we have a weakness at centre half, I can't see how the defence is improved by buying a youngster from Dundee who might or might not be good in three years time. Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet pay out some money and fix the problem now. It doesn't stop us building for the future.
The last eighteen months have been a great time for us fans, we've played some great football, and hopefully we will win another treble, but it was always likely that teams would find a way to nullify us, this is now happening, even Kilmarnock have managed to frustrate us the last twice we've played them.
In football you can't afford to stand still, other teams are going to try and improve themselves, so we have to try and maintain the gap. I feel this season we've been slow in doing this even though we're still the best team in the league.
Our club is very well run and it makes lots of money, but I don't see the point of making all this money if we are not going to use it to strengthen the team. That should be the whole point of making the money.

The fact we lost 2 central defenders in the 1st 25 minutes is the biggest cause of the defeat in my opinion.
I think Rodgers honeymoon period has also ended with some supporters, but hopefully this will give the team, management, board and supporters that through complacency we will be beaten.

On honeymoon period for a year and a half give it a rest.

I think we lack a plan b (at the moment) when things aren't going our way, but if you look at what BR is trying to do and the age of the team he is trying to bind together, i can only assume he is planning to be here for a while and nurture a team together for future glories. Bring on 10IAR. hail hail, in BR we must trust.

Give what a rest sammy, the fact is Brendan Rodgers has been put up on a pedestal by some, and can do no wrong in their eyes, and now we lose 2 games, and have drawn some home games they turn on him, I’ve even heard some folk stating we’d be better with Delhia after a year of BR love.

Be careful what you wish for mms.

What am I wishing for, if you actually read what I’m saying instead of arguing with yourself. Rodgers is a good manager, and I’ve never said anything else, but I’m entitled to state my opinion, that is obvious
The team is lacking something this year, and the defensive problems are still problems.

Cause people criticise Rogers doesn’t mean people are “turning on him”. He deserves to be criticised like anyone. He is not above making a can't of it like anybody else. Blind faith and he can do no wrong attitude of some isn’t healthy.

The team where rubbish. We created nothing and had only one shot on target. Nobody could beat a man or even tried and our passing was utter dross. How can you not receive criticism for that?

He can take it and it shows the mentality of the players who lacked confidence when they faced an organised team needs looked at.

The pitch doesn’t help. The injuries disrupted us, but we still didn’t create anything. If that’s not a worry and not worth criticism then what is?

By the way, Stevie Clarke will be the next boss of Sevco.
