That's Aberdeen done as far as the league is concerned, McInnes can't win a big game, that's 9 points they've gifted them, don't see Sevco letting 2nd place slip now much as it pains me to say it .

ha ha ha the daft cunny funts are celebrating as their "title challenge" is gathering pace.
I did not have the heart to tell them they did Celtic a FAVOUR by keeping our 11 point lead.

Agree its Sevco for 2nd. No matter what we say they have gone out and strengthened in the window. Maybe not Celtic class players but better than they had. Martin is a good addition and Cummings as no 2 striker is not a bad move. The boy from QPR is not a bad player either. They won't close the gap this season but the next couple of Celtic Rangers games will be interesting. After the way we performed against Thistle we may not have a 10 point lead at the end of the season.

As long as we don’t let first place slip they can finish where they like. Aberdeen are a woeful team tbf.

I must have been watching a different game l can't believe Aberdeen never scored and Sevco scored against the run of play?

24 Jan 2018 22:39:13
Jamiebhoy didn't think the game was on tv. Were Rangers any good?

24 Jan 2018 22:56:22
A good friend of mine sent me a link Jmac

For me they scored against the run of play, it was a penalty but Foderingham was there best player with some unreal stops Aberdeen could have had 4 or 5 on a different night how the ball stayed out the net on two occasions baffled me.

24 Jan 2018 23:31:41
Jamiebhoy, just shows you how two people can look at the same thing and get s completely different take on it, I thought The rangers played well, passed well, found their teammates, were aggressive and incisive, and Morelos missed a couple of sitters, I wasn't so sure about the penalty, think Lewis threw himself down well before and Windass went for the penalty instead of avoiding Lewis, but maybe I need to see it again, I thought Aberdeen were toothless, lacking ideas and looked like they were in a different league from the home team, but, then again I only saw about twenty-five minutes on the live YouTube link.

24 Jan 2018 23:35:50
Aberdeen are a poor lot, that's 3 defeats in a trot to that mob. When was the last real meaningful game Aberdeen won?

24 Jan 2018 23:43:25
Nice to see you have upgraded from watching it on the radio aindoh lol match report saying foderingham had fantastic saves and Aberdeen should have had two on another night but accept match report nicer to Rangers than I was 👍🍀🍀.

25 Jan 2018 00:28:08
Yes, foderinhham did have a couple of good saves, but from what I saw, they were against the run of play, Aberdeen were being totally dominated, the thing o YouTube was commented on by The rangers supporters and players, so i thought it was The rangers TV, when Tavernier scored the penalty, it was like one of those Brazilian guys from years ago, goaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal, but even though the commentating was biased, there was no getting away from the evidence in front of your eyes, Aberdeen were pitiful, as the team that's sitting second in the league, their performance was awful.

25 Jan 2018 07:19:32
I watched the second half and Aberdeen were rank rotten. They have no bottle for big games.

25 Jan 2018 07:21:02
Plus GMS proved exactly why he wasn't a success at parkhead. All the skill in the world but doesn't have the mentality for big games.

It was inevitable that sevco would improve. I think the signings they have made have improved them. Would any of them get a game for us? That remains to be seen through their performances and how our players react.

I actually welcome them getting better. It focuses, or should, the mind of the board and Brendan in relation to what needs to be done. The other advantage I see is in them believing they are ready to take over, backed up by a fawning press and if we react properly and smash them then the pain inflicted becomes more acute.

You know what they are like, they string three wins together and they think they are Barcelona. Beating them when they are in thus La La Land is one of the sweetest feelings.

We have the resources to move further ahead. We have the manager to achieve that. Rangers getting better will be the catalyst we always seem to need to react.

As I read the match report I had an image if the hack sitting there with his rangers scarf on praying for a revival and focusing totally on how good they were.

Let them get all carried away. The crash in hope when we keep ahead of them, is one of the greatest gifts in life, never mind fitba.

They are praying we don't bring in anybody of real class. Let's do just that and start of the process of a return to misery.

It's in our own hands. I still have no doubts about us doing just that.

The game at CP when we played rubbish and they still couldn't win. The trick is to go to Ibrox the next game and destroy them in their own gaff. If they keep winning now the pain of that day on their faces will be life enhancing. for us.

No matter what we think about them the stark truth is Aberdeen have went backwards this season and are a real soft touch.
Hibs, Hearts and St Johnstone are lucky to sustain three wins in a row at present, never mind mount a serious challenge for second place although as we have seen they are capable of raising their game against us - when it suits.
The relief since Pedro left has given TRIFC a lift and a consistency they have lacked and although they are light years behind Celtic, they would seem to have Aberdeen's number and it will be amusing to hear the revival reports to detract from the financial crisis.

25 Jan 2018 10:33:41
I actually believe that Celtic and Aberdeen are a bit rusty after the break, and rangers playing a couple of games have helped them.

25 Jan 2018 15:23:19
Aberdeen were never in the league anyway mate! They had as much chance of winning as the tribute act! Who cares about 2nd anyway, let the rest worry about that! Let them fight for the scraps off our plate.

25 Jan 2018 15:25:18
Watched it aberdeen were woeful.

25 Jan 2018 15:27:56
As long as Rangers and Aberdeen keep 11 points behind us, I will be happy, just about double the age of Rangers .
The traditional penalty wasn't forgot.
