All I can say is thank God for The Lions and what they achieved.
I consider myself to be very, very fortunate to have watched us in three European finals ('67, '70, and 2003) and I know I will not witness my team appear in any more - probably in my lifetime, unless some monumental changes or minor miracles occur.
The use of politics and power, the obscene amounts of money and the elitist design of the CL has made it off-limits for most honest, humble teams no matter their tradition or class, to evenly compete.
{Ed007's Note - Celtic were the only team that came through the CL Qualifiers champions route to win a game in the Group Stages.}
