ED007 thanks for putting up that link to cheer us up after last night.
Can I ask a favour, please can you put up the clip of the song on youtube "hampden in the sun- Celtic 7 the rangers 1"

{Ed007's Note - This one?

Cheers ED007 the one I saw on youtube had the lyrics but this one is just as good, there are a few on there from different artists. I hope the younger element on here enjoyed a wee walk down memory lane to show what Celtic are.

{Ed007's Note - Is it that one?}

Yes ED007 that was the one I saw cheers.
In the documentary you put up, was it not sad to see big Billy so articulate and reminicising about Celtic Park and Barrowfield in those days. No money, no training facilities to speak of, yet CELTIC rose above it all and won trophy after trophy culminating in the Big CUP hail hail
And also nothing changes either, in 1957 after ANOTHER cup final defeat the old team's fans rioted.

{Ed007's Note - It's heartbreaking to see how Billy's declined, Tim.}

My granda always used to tell me how skilful players like Charlie Tully were. He told me how proud the fans were of the team after humiliating the animals in the final. My era was the Nine in a row with the quality street gang but my granda would rave of the many skilful and robust players we had in the 50s. He left me with so many great memories of what it meant to be a lifelong Celtic fan. Hail Hail.
