Imo Martin Dubravka the Slovakian keeper from the Scotland game last was my man of the match. Does anyone else think he would make it at paradise?

I googled him to find out who he played with, he's at Sparta Prague I think and sure he's not even 30 yet. Think he would do a turn for us.

{Ed007's Note - 28-year-old Dubravka only joined Sparta Prague this summer on a free transfer from Slovan Liberec.}

Ah we'll there you go ed I must not have been as blooterd as I thought I was last night.

{Ed007's Note - You'd have needed to be blootered to sit through that game.}

Must admit that I had a few drams watching the game. But have to say that it was one of the best goalkeeping performances I've seen in a long time.

Never seen the game, and only listened to bits on the radio, but you make it sound like Scotland were rampant and the goalkeeper was working overtime to keep them from scoring, didn't come across that way on the radio, even though at the end, most of the pundits were saying how well Scotland had played, I was thinking I must have had the radio switched of at that time, cause they played against ten men for most of the game, and the bits I listened to, Slovakia were holding their own even though a man down, I admit I missed twenty minutes near the end, and switched on again for the last couple of minutes, but if you are saying the Slovakian keeper had a great game, i. e., making save upon save upon save, maybe they were right.

The Slovakian's played well considering they were down to ten men for most of the match. But Scotland had periods when we had them peg back and would have scored earlier had it not been for the keeper pulling of a good few great saves. And Skrtel's master class in the art of defending own goal apart.

Ended up watching most of it at my sons house and although he played KT out of position to accommodate Robertson (shades of Danny McGrain) - the team started very well and created a few chances.
However, when Slovakia went down to ten men early in the match, I don't think WGS took full advantage and failed to capitalise and we allowed them to come into the game.
The guy Phillips, Morrison and Fletcher were awful the whole game but he hooks Forrest and then Tierney?
The result may well justify his decisions and their goalie had a 'worldy' but Scotland deserve credit for plugging away until the end and forcing that winner.

I think it would be to Scotland's advantage if WGS was sacked before Sunday, and an interim manager was instructed to just pick the inform players out of the pool, in fact just tell him to think of team that Gordon would not pick and just play that.
