Just watched BBC"s Lisbon Lions programme from last night. seemed right to watch it today.

I laughed and I cried as rhe memories came back again., i was 5 at the time.

The emotions still generated are powerful.

God bless the Lisbon Lions.

It goes all the way to your soul

I was 7 years old at the time, those players were like Gods to me.
It's still amazing to think that a group of boys all from a 30 odd mile radius of Celtic park could have done what they did, it makes the achievement even more special.
I can only thank them for the pleasure they brought to my family, just seeing them in the Programme let's you see what special people they are.
I would like to spare a thought for those players who have passed on, you will never be forgotten.
To the rest of them, I hope that they have a terrific day, nobody deserves it more.

It's been a roller coaster of emotions watching and reading about the LL. It's nice to see Mother Nature play her part!

Went to my very first game in 1962, age six and got the first of many lifts over the turnstile like many fellow posters.
I really consider myself blessed to have been lucky enough to follow and adore Celtic from then-on; The Lions set the benchmark for all others who followed with the unique grand slam of winning every tournament they entered - then a close thing in the San Siro v Feyenoord - nine in a row, the Centenery Celts And many many great memories along the way, including MON's treble and Seville right up to Brendan's unbeatable Bhoys - playing football the lions would be proud of 50 years on.
