Seems to me all the outrage emanating from the match is that Brown won't miss the semi? So what, he will still miss two games why all the fuss. And Neil McCann is a disgrace the way he described the tackle which was simply mistimed, his studs were not up and he caught him.

He was talking nonsense about the speed of the tackle? What are there speed limits on tackles? I could highlight multiple challenges that did merit reds and yet nothing, no backlash or outrage.

The cry for Broony to miss the semi and the outrage he isn't in the daily rebel is clear. At least the boys and Brendan are clear what they are up against. I am confident our bhoys will dismantle the tribute act in the semis even against a loaded hand.

Fair point kwaj! The outrage is over the fact brown is free for the semi . Reports emanated yesterday that all teams were notified before any games were played that any incidents or appeals would not be dealt with till the 27th!

They are saying we are playing the system and trying to shame us Into not appealing! The media / referreing biased is clear to see .

Love how they forget when Lee mcculloch was red carded and played the system to insure he was cleared to play against celtic ( a game he assaulted and could have ended kayals career)

Or when boughera was red carded and they did the same because they had a defensive crisis so he could play a cup game ( in which he scored ) but that's none of our business 😜😜😜.

The media/ pundits can say what they like about Celtic appealing browns red card. The bottom line is there's an appeal process in place to be used and Celtic won't be the first club to use it in order to get the offending player available for the next game. Just for the record, like another post said, the ref was initially going to his back pocket for the yellow card until all the pushing and shoving started, then he seems to change his mind and goes to his chest pocket and pulls out the red. It was a rash challenge but have seen worse. The whole thing came from that horrendous decision from the ref for the penalty.

The red was harsh, but the ref never told him to make tackle, seconds after the player he tackled got booked for tackling brown. I'm a brown fan but he's has to be bigger than that especially as captain.

Why do some on here complain about the pish written clearly by the morons more interested in pleasing their Masonic editors than journalism. i don't buy their excuses of newspapers. use your own judgement and foresight. They will soon go the way of most badly run businesses; down the drain.
