just read about jim brogan and his sad battle with dementia there, its really sad i remember jim playing for celtic when i was at primary school.

Aye, he was a real stalwart post-lions at left half and left back and a great servant to the club. 'Brogies gonnae get ye' was a popular anthem reflecting his tough tackling, battling qualities on the park. However like so many of that generation - a real gent at supporters rallies etc.
