Reading what Rodgers has said about Commons - and how he has implied that he has no future - I really feel he is treating someone who has been a great player for and servant to the club in a terrible way. He says about his fitness but I take issue with this: Rogic, much as I like him, is virtually guaranteed not to finish the game and has very little pace. So why could Commons not perform a similar role, be it from the start or the bench? I think we are missing a trick by not even giving the guy a chance.

As long as this continues then he manager is right.
Now every manager has his own ideas and ants his own players
How can anyone say commons has been treated bad either
From what I have read the manager has been truthful with commons and ever other player he isn't see in his plans.
How is that treating him bad?

As far as I know Rogic hasbeen a model professional . Commons has been a disrespective influence and should have been shown the door a year ago. You won't build a team with a self centred thug in it.

What could Commons add? Well he is the only true replacement like for like for Rogic, who we all know can't last 90.
I seem to remember Commons getting pelters on here over his fitness, Rogic doesn't get it. Also Commons lasted 90 mins, we are just seeing the benefit of having Izzy due to KTs injury.
What do we do if Rogic is injured.

Can someone tell me what is it commons has actually done? I read mention of him being disruptive etc but I've never heard this?

Old Bhoy you really take the biscuit, explain to me why commons is a THUG, you came on here and slated some one for saying Gamboa was'nt very good and no one should slate our players, then YOU call one of them a thug, unbelievable.

I think we will try and offload Commons in January if anyone is interested.
Rodgers has already stated that he won't play him, so it makes sense to sell and free up a decent wage and reduce the size of our squad.

Commons public reaction to been substituted towards the end of an European game last season was that of a low life thug . I can understand a player been disappointed at been substituted but it is accepted in the game that a player can only show so much in public . Any normal person, who was near the prolonged incident, in the stand or watching on tv would have no doubt Commons rage was excessive and I have no doubt went a long way towards R D loosing " the dressing room " .
I am of an age that the manager or boss is always right, and because he/ she holds that position the least a player or employee can do is show his dissent in private .
I am surprise that the Board let him get away with it because what he did was not only disrespectful to R D but also to the whole club fans and all.

Commons has scored just shy of 100 goals for the club, been player of the year in Scotland and has proved his worth time and again. He is one of our most creative players and yet has not even been named as a sub either in cup games or when wholesale changes were made in the league. I think not even giving him a chance is treating him very badly after all he has done. Some people have very short memories. To mention the successes so far this season and ask what could have been better would imply you are happy to rest on your laurels - would you be content if de vries was still in goal and we continuing to ship goals but winning or would you highlight where you believe there could be improvements? And for calling him a thug, you either show a total lack of understanding of the word or have an underlying bias that you are unable to overlook.

Hows he been treated badly?
hes still getting a wage and I could almost guarantee he was told by BR his position at the club ages ago.
I'm always greatful for his service and the goals he's left some good memories but KC has no place in our team. None of the midfield or forward players deserve to be dropped in place of him and could anyone honestly say they miss him in the team.

Jesus the previous 2 managers had issues with KC and he still got game time I'm not sure many others would have got the same chances.
He also trains with the first team that's his chance to show what he can do.
He doesn't fit into system it's as simple as that.
There isn't a single player in that team that deserves to be dropped in place of KC I think the majority of us would agree that.

He has been a problem where ever he has played . He wants to put an "I" into team and Brendan Rodgers knows only too well, to keep him at a distance or he would be trying to put B R out of a job too.

Jesus - so when has Rodgers given him a chance in the team? And in what way is Rogic - who, before I am accused of anything, really like as a player but can't finish a game - more mobile, fitter or even more of a goal threat than Commons? Sure, start with Rogic, but rather than bringing on someone like Bitton, why not go for a similar style of player: someone attaching, creative and likely to score or have a major hand in a goal, LIKE COMMONS? I think naming 24 instead of 25 in the European squad and leaving him out was snub that he is totally undeserving of.
