Sevco fans taking the moral high ground about the hanging blow up dolls making up it was about kris boyds brother it really annoyes me they are getting away with these lies trying to pull our name down to there vile level. it was about there old club dying it was unfortunate about the date and what happened a few days earlier.

{Ed007's Note - Don't bother your backside, Gordo, or anyone else. Everyone including TRIFC fans and people at Ibrox know it had nothing to do with the tragic death of Boyd's brother. I wonder if any TRIFC support has spoken to Boyd or his family to explain why they are dragging their family's horrible bereavement into their whataboutery games?These people are pathetic and it says a lot more about them that they tied a tasteless stunt at a football match to a young man's untimely and tragic death. The family have enough to deal with without being dragged into the cesspit that is the TRIFC's point scoring.
To be abundantly clear, this is no more than them trying to deflect from their customary wrecking the toilets and costing thousands of pounds worth of damage to seats as well.
They'll be scouring obituaries to see who died at the same as them in 2012 to see if they can be offended about Celtic fans carrying cardboard coffins and wearing grim reaper masks.
Lee Wallace would be embarrassed to report this! Why wasn't social media buzzing about it until hours after the pictures of the wrecked toilets appeared? It took one them that long to come up with the idea, that's why.}

There's an abundance of uncle toms finding offence also, including the blogger that wets his pants ever time a member of the GB farts.

They have a track record of doing this. I seem to recall Alex Thomson making a comment about them a few years ago and referred to them as Daleks.

The online hun brigade said daleks can't walk down stairs and ludicrously tried to claim that Thomson was making reference to the Ibrox disaster.

I can't make up my mind who is the worst, the people that come up with the lie to try and twist things or the people who believe it. All I know is both parties make their club and fans a laughing stock for everyone else.

Adding to that the one's acting offended are ones that sang and sing about pedophiles as if it's a joke yet it happened at there old club Johnny charmers molested there youth we don't sing songs and joke about it though because we aren't vile scum just people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones still annoyed they tar our fans in with there's.

ED007 it was also so so predictable that an "official" statement from the new club was hurriedely prepared for the press, "condemning" all our fans but conveniently forgetting their own fans part in the wrecking spree. As you say they are the world champions at deflection after a bad defeat.
But also for the record, can I say do these idiot Celtic fans ever think before pulling off stunts like the dummies, tasteless is the mildest word to use. But again as like the toilets why did the police or stewards not try and stop them.

{Ed007's Note - It was a stupid and crass idea, but offensive - no chance. The people upset by this made up nonsense and faux outrage are the exact same people that think it's acceptable to sing about being up to their knees in Fenian blood etc and posing with vermin who glorify sectarian murderers, not to mention supporting apartheid and mass genocide in Israel.
Should we really be taking a sermon about right and wrong from anyone at Ibrox when even their chairman is a criminal and they have an ex-convict as the hero in their team?}

12 Sep 2016 13:17:57
The most infuriating thing about this is that they are trying their hardest to make some kind of link between the 2 events so they can act outraged when it was their fans who actually did make up a song about Scott Brown's sister dying of cancer! How many of them even knew it was suicide awareness day do you reckon? I certainly didn't. I'd never heard of it until this stuff was flagged up as if everybody knows all about it. It was a thoughtless and tasteless display but that's all.

I've said it before, the only people connecting the effigies with Kris Boyd's personal loss is Rangers and panty wetters.

As well as which, the effigies had their hands tied so it'd be more accurate to say they were lynchings - which is bad in and of itself of course, but doesn't fit the narrative.

Truth is, it was an unfunny joke -but as you say ED, offensive? Only if you are looking to be offended.

Someone once said "offence is taken, not given", and in the wake of the result, there are people more than willing to take.

Kev they have a song about Tommy Burns too i'll not go into the words of it on here out of respect for Tommy's family but it's vile. Everyone knows Tommy didn't have an ounce of hate in him either towards them.

james I know, it's terrible and there are some within our support who think it's ok to mock the Ibrox disaster etc. The fact is it's always a few clowns who show the majority in a bad light. This talk about banning our fans from Ibrox etc. is a complete farce and, as Ed says, is nothing but a deflection tactic. I do think future displays need to be thought out much better as the Hun Scum banner wasn't just directed at the stereotypical supporter we all envisage, there were kids, pensioners etc there too.

{Ed007's Note - Anyone that mocks the Ibrox Disaster is sick in the head. I've heard people crack a few jokes about it over the years but in all my years of following Celtic all over the UK, Ireland and Europe, Irish nights all over the place etc I can honestly say I have never heard the fabled song TRIFC supporters accuse us of having about it. If it exists it must just be one person/group of people have sung it and it's been heard and snowballed from there. After running a supporter's bus out of Hamilton for years I reckon I would have heard it at some point.}

12 Sep 2016 16:45:03
No Ed I don't think the "song" actually exists either but I've heard the jokes and similar chants to the ones about Hillsborough. There's rivalry and banter but that's just silly stuff. I did feel there was a wee bit of an edge to the displays on Saturday though, there's usually a bit of humour in amongst it all but I didn't see that this time.

{Ed007's Note - I thought the main Green Brigade display was an absolute belter.}

12 Sep 2016 16:53:39
To kris boyd i send my condolences as I have lost a friend to similar circumstances in the past and its not a great experience.

Having said that i don't believe for a minute that stunt on Saturday was anything other than a prank gone wrong and wasnt for kris's benefit.
Putting it into perspective why would we look to offend kris? Jesus the guy was a non entity when he played us and i used to love it when he was on there teamsheet.
I think its a deflection from the toilet carry on which itself is an attemp to deflect away from the score.

On the subject of being offended does anyone think there will be some catalonian flags at camp nou?
I wouldn't want Barcelona to be fined given uefas "stance" on the matter.

HH.
