When done Andy Murray - straights sets win in the final, what character and nerve this man has shown - the pressure on him must be immense.

Andy Murray is a big loss to Scotland just now.

Remarkable achievement from Murray. Wonder if the inbred silver spoon mob will grace him with a knighthood. Well done Andy.

Old bhoy from the tone of your posts in the past I get the feeling your from Ireland, so your Irish ( please correct me if I'm wrong and I do apologize if I am ) so why do you care if he is British or Scottish? I for one was born to a Scottish mother, an Italian father and my passport says I'm British , I would not be offended if you called me any of those things.

Fab1888 what makes you think that I had you in mind when I made my earlier post about Andy Murray.

11 Jul 2016 08:11:42
Nothing in my post suggests you were talking about anyone but Murray , I was using myself as an example of someone like him who was born in Scotland and has no problem being called British and using you as an example of someone who isn't British but seems very concerned about him being called British , unless your about as Irish as James McCarthy and Aiden mcgeady, in which case I apologize unreservedly.

11 Jul 2016 18:41:22
I don't understand the link between Murray and him being British when successful and Scottish when not winning according to British media . Every Country from these Islands avail of the rules and laws that make players not born in a particular Country available to pay . I must say I thought it was only Rangers fans who had a problem with players opting for R O I.
