Do you guys think fringe players will be given a chance before new manger decides who goes and who stays.
Up front for example, will Stokes be given a chance? Scepovic even?
I know about half a dozen midfielders need to be moved on but I agree with Lennon that we have the bones of a good squad.

Gordon
Lustig or Janko
Sviatchenko
Simunovic
Tierney.

(Mulgrew, Fisher, new left back new centre half)

Midfield 4
Brown, Armstrong, Roberts, Biton
Henderson, Christie, rogic, megregor

On trial, Allan, Forrest, GMS, Commons, johanson, Ajer

Up front
Griffiths plus two
On trial stokes, scepovic, Nesbit, CKR

I think a good manager might get players like johanson back to his best but fear more of a dressing room split and the damage maybe done!

I would give everyone a chance but look to offload about half a dozen not to mention the certainties like ambrose, cifti, and a fond farewell to emilio, he goes with my thanks and best wishes.

Exciting times ahead!

We need to move players out of club . pointless giving Commons and Stokes a trial, neither have the skills or respect for club to get another chance . If we keep these two we will have trouble not far away . Do u not think Forrest has been with us long enough to know that he can't be bothered doing it . Sceptovic clearly doesn't want to be in Scotland .

I think new. managers have their own ideas and prefer to bring players they can trust from previous experience or guys who they see as an improvement - finance permitting
Unfortunately RD never brought in enough quality and the previous managers players never bought into his ideas.
To be honest guys like Commons, Stokes, Forrest and Izzy have shot their bolt so to speak, while others like Johansen and Lustig may well feel it's time for a change or don't fancy the new boss.
Blacket, Cole and Ciftci seem to be in limbo, whereas,
Allen, Christie and Baily have not had a chance to show?
Scepovic and Janko don't seem to fancy Glasgow so it does leave room for hopefully better additions.

For me Stokes, Cole, Ciftci, Scepovic, Commons, Forrest, Ambrose should all be first gone. I hope we sell Biton and Johansen for extra transfer funds, Ed said Janko wants away, Blacketts loan is expiring, I'm sure both Mulgrew and Fisher are out of contract and there is word Izzy is away too. So hopefully we get a couple of versatile defenders one that can play LB/ LCB and one that can play RB/ RCB so we are well covered. A strong DM should be priority too. The new managers biggest decision is who is his best CM/ CAM between Rogic, Armstrong, Brown, Christie, Ajer, Allan, Henderson, because Roberts will be out wide and we need a new LM that's better than GMS so some of them midfielders will need to be loaned or sold too.

After watching the Hibs/ Falkirk game hope Liam Henderson gets a chance to shine. Cracking wee prospect.

11 May 2016 12:05:24
He seems to have excelled at both loan clubs in recent seasons and I agree he deserves a chance as he is better than some at the club now and there will be a few leaving.
Incidentally it seems that Hibs were also victims of one of these frequent 'honest mistakes' that haunt Celtic games.
The referee watched the Falkirk defender roll the ball along the ground with his hand, in the area and waved play-on!

Stokes given a chance? He's had plenty of chances IMO. I'd ship him ASAP.

Henderson is twice the player and younger than most of the midfielders presently at the club. Another bonkers decision whoever sanctioned it to let him go on loan so we could pay money to get Scott Allan when Henderson is a better player! Madness

Always seen Henderson as Brown's long term replacement and now looks to be about the right time to do just that. He can pass, cross and shoot a lot better than Brown and is m9re creative and a goal threat than Brown has ever been.

I have said a few times that I thought the Allan signing was pointless because we had better players at our club.
Both rogic and henderson are far better players in my opinion.
Christie though he hasn't had much of a chance I still rated higher after his time at ICT.
Mcgregor I also rate higher after his time in England and in our team.

Kev83 I haven't seen much of Henderson this season and didn't see much of Allan last season but didn't Henderson pretty much emulate this season what Scott Allan did last season? I'm not at the wind up btw, it just seems that both of them did really well for a season in the Championship but only one seems to be rated as any good. Obviously I do realise that Henderson is a few years younger.

Kevbhoy henderson also went on loan to rosenborg bk played 9 score 3 and helped them win the league.
Has played in Europa league last 32 with us setting up the 3rd goal with a sublime first time chip over the Inter defence.
And like you said heshe almost five years younger and getting better.
What has Allan really done of note?

11 May 2016 18:14:49
Not much but I don't think he's really been given the chance, even when our other players ie Johanson, Bitton, Brown and GMS were underperforming. I'd like to see him at least get an opportunity when we've got CKR playing most weeks.
