A few names I'd be happy with if the board signed from the Dutch Eredivisie would be Hakim Ziyech from Twenty 17 goals 10 assists 71.6% pass percentage very creative player being scouted by a lot of the big clubs. Also yoyng Vitesse RB Kevin Diks is statistically one of the top RBs in the Dutch league at 19 years old both would be worth a lot in a few years and fit this policy and neither are projects they're already good.

Both great young players. Good shouts. Definitely a league I'd be happy with us shopping in. Ziyech was linked with us in jan but I didn't even take it seriously. But if we get in first for players like this I don't see why we can't lure them to us.

We seem to be able to offer better money than the Dutch league so don't see why not as you say get in early. Think Ziyech would be the marquee signing think he might cost a few bob.

£6m was the figure being mentioned at the time I think mate. There was some big clubs in big leagues linked as well mind. But we shouldn't be afraid to make a bid for players. I just get the impression with Celtic at times that they are almost afraid of getting turned down for other offers, whereas the loser isn't the one that tries and fails, the loser is the one that doesn't try for fear of failing. After all, we've been told that if the club can see value in a £6-8m player, they'll do it. That was two and a half year ago. Either PL was downright talking BS to us or JP can't find a decent player. And it's a shame you can.

Well even with that fee there will still be profit as we could possibly double that. Half the time these quotes put us off then in the end they go to some average team for a lot less. Like we was quoted £4m for Kara Mbodj then he ended up going to Anderlecht for £2.25m.

Another player in the Dutch league CDM Rico Strieder from Utrecht is a really good player and won't cost much either.

In January we were linked with a winger called Santos who plays for NEC, All the guys at my work in Rotterdam rated him and expect him to end up in England.

Jim How do you know whether Celtic have made bids for £6-£8m players in recent seasons . It's not likely that the MSSM would report Celtic bidding in that field and as Celtic rarely speak about any prospect before deal is near enough sealed.

Well I'm not certain sbout that chris, but we haven't signed one, and they're not exactly rare.
Kramer was mentioned by several people on here also, hit the ground where he left off this season too.

The players mentioned in this post Camp Bhoy are from one league not umpteen! They're merely just hopeful suggestions of who would be a good signing. I suppose you're one of these brainwashed fans that thinks we already have an amazing squad when half of them aren't good enough to be warming the bench.
