Delighted for Ronny Regardless of what has been said and done the history books will say he won 2 League Titles during his time with us. Time for the gloating to begin. Home to get the green polo shirt on and meet up with some Leith tims at the Liquid Rooms for the Clone Roses. Champagne time! HH.

{Ed007's Note - Have a blast, Stan, a few of my mates are heading through for that gig.}

Agree. How many managers won 3 league titles in 2 countries by the age of 40? Good luck for the future big man.

Thanks Ed looking forward to it, Had a great night at Noel Gallagher last week at the Hydro. Pretty eventful summer i have the Stone Roses in Dublin and Manchester. Richard Ashcroft in Glasgow next month then Noel and Ashcroft at Bellahouston Park. 3 of my favourites in one summer it doesn't get much better.

Right i better get on with this gloating, there's plenty glum faces in Maroon :-D.

{Ed007's Note - My concerts days are long behind me with these crutches but I'd love to go and see Glasvegas live, everybody else I wanted to see I've seen, like Floyd, The Stones, Lou Reed and The Velevet Underground, Oasis and U2 before they became knobheads.}

I was in Largs last week where the local drama group put on a Gallagher and Lyle themed play. (All the songs were Gallagher and Lyle's) At the end of the show, after the actors had taken their bows. Gallagher and Lyle actually came on and sang. Audience was on its feet.

My cousins wife is good friends with Glasvegas, She does a lot of work with bands and for Ch4. Any gigs you fancy Ed let me know in advance see what i can do especially if there's seating on balcony if you fancied that. Would love to see them myself Secret Truth is a song i play on repeat, as far as debut albums go there's is up there with the best of them.

{Ed007's Note - Mate that would be fantastic and you've no idea how appreciated. I'll definitely be in touch the next time Glasvegas are in Glasgow, you're a true gentleman.}

Glad to help, I'll write a note and get intouch with them next week just to give them a heads up to see what they can do, Easy enough for them to arrange. Hopefully they tour this year.

{Ed007's Note - Here don't think I'm looking for a freebie or that Stan, it's just you've no idea the difficulty in going out to places you take for granted when you're on crutches, even going to the football is a nightmare because of where you need to park unless you get a pass from the Club and they are like gold-dust. Remember the Norwich friendly a couple of years back, a very dear and special friend arranged for two tickets right at the front row whwre my legs could be straight (my leg was in a right mess at the time and I could hardly walk even with crutches) but after the match it took us about two hours to get back to where their car was.
While I'm on a rant, years ago when I first had my accident I was on crutches and casts on both legs but we were playing Rangers and I wasn't going to miss that, my mate's dad ran us in nice and early but after the game the police shut London Road and wouldn't let a taxi through to pick me and two mates up, we eventually had to walk up to get the service bus on Tollcross Road
It's my Mrs 40th in July and I was planning on getting tickets for the WWE at the Hydro for us, we went once before to the NEC in Birmingham and had a VIP package including food etc that Ed001 treated us to. I was hoping to get the same kind of deal but as soon as I mentioned I was on crutches the prices shot up to a second hand car, even seats with just a few stairs to get to were dearer than if I was walking.}

The stones are magic live eh.
Seen them 3 times love them.
Them and celtic are my dad's true loves away fae family.

{Ed007's Note - They're great live but I wouldn't listen to an album, the best band live has to be Pink Floyd, I've seen them a few times and each time they just got better and better.}

Helping a Tim is all it is to me Ed so don't worry. I love Music like you clearly do so if i can help in any way to get you to one of their gigs i will.

{Ed007's Note - Thanks again mate.}

Gents watch David Gilmour doing Coming Back To Life at The Royal Albert Hall on youtube, That's my favourite live performance.
