You would think after the humiliating defeat in the cup that the players would be well up for yesterdays game, As if winning the league wasnt a big enough incentive to roll up the sleeves and put in a performance that was worthy viewing for the few crazy enough to endure this crap under DD and PL etc.
We are currently a club with no leadership, Souless and no heart. Stale from the Boardroom to the 11 on the park. A major shareholder who thinks he is the owner and uses us as his toy. He has no impact whatsoever we put in more cash ourselves. A power hungry Chief Executive who thinks he is Mr Celtic, Going into the dressing room on more than one occassion. when did he become a coach? deciding what players come and go. Is this how weak we have become we have allowed this man to have so much influence he has taken us to the brink of being a laughing stock, Actually that's what we are. Under this pair we have gone from being a Champions League club. To a club that can't even win a Europa League game, We have gone from winning trebles to barely winning doubles at a time when our nearest rivals died.
It has been a hard season staying away but i will do it again next season as long as this pair continue to ruin everything that is good about Celtic. The cutting our cloth project they put in place even before Rangers died is now coming to fruition. Empty stands, a woeful product on the park, etc etc etc.
Serious changes need to be made at Boardroom level or we are going to find ourselves in a position where 30,000+ fans are going to stay away and not return. This at a time when the new Rangers are back in the SPL and quite frankly put our team and Club to shame last weekend.
So well said The Green Brigade this is DD and PL's legacy at Celtic Park. A failed and embarrassing way to run the greatest club in the world. Do us all a favour and step aside so that the fans can get the Celtic FC they deserve. You are taking us backwards at an alarming rate.

Can't disagree with any of that Stan.
The board have taken the supporters for granted for years, they seem to think that as long as the league is won fans will Tolerate all the downsizing and still turn up in their droves.
Football nowadays is expensive for a lot of fans, the club have got to realise that they have to try and put the best team possible out on the park, if fans feel they are being cheated they won't part with their hard earned cash, the club have got to stop taking people for fools.
Everything the board does is cheap, appointing a cheap manager and cheap players is never going to drive our club forward, the way we're heading it won't be long before Sevco overtake us and win the league, and it will be well before we win our longed for 10.
The sad thing in all this is that Sevco are now back in the top flight, yet it's us who have become the laughing stock, the board should hang their heads in shame.
I hope that now this experiment has proven not to work, the board finally see sense and fund things properly, it's the only chance there is of attracting the missing thousands back.

Fantastic post Stan! Agree with every single thing said! I just hope DD sits up and takes notice of how the fans feel as we are the most powerful asset the club has! Interesting few weeks ahead of us.

Aye let's all go and back this flawed cloth cutting project and keep the Board happy. Too many people happy with Celtic being a feeder Club to England and being a nobody in European football.
Tell me this were Celtic close to extinction when we were spending to compete in the Uefa Cup or Champions League? Of course we were not.

It has taken an almost disastrous season for the board to finally realise the folly of their complacency and incompetence.
RD will be remembered as the first Celtic manager to lose a match to Sevco, but there has been fault and failings right through the club for far too long with a penny pinching, bargain basement philosophy.
Now we have one hell of a mess to tackle, resolve and rectify in a very short space of time and it will take a 'real' manager to step in, assess and rebuild without hesitation or reservation.

Stan 19 . At the end of the day us fans have a very important role for the club's success. We can pack the stands for all home games
The alternative is half full stands, silent and shouting abuse
The full stands with supportive supporters bring the winning atmosphere.

Old Bhoy the fans have always don't their bit. I have never shouted abuse at a game in my life and i never will. Fans have been staying away for a few seasons now but it is gradually getting worse. there's only so many times people can be made a fool before they say enough is enough. I believe a huge majority of the celtic support want new people running the Club.

Good man Stan 19, many of us never have and probably never will shout abuse. However too many do and especially when the team is not playing well Celtic Park can be quite quiet, until someone shouts at a player and it is heard all round the place .
Aston Villa fans fairly let their players know what they thought of them at the week end . But then again Villa really have went to the dogs this season.
