thank god rd is away, he had to go if he never walked we had to push him anyway . The jobs been to big for him from the start, he's had 2 years and everything has went backwards . the next manager has to clear out all the dead wood and start trying to build a squad we can all be proud of.

I feel sorry for him as I reckon he could have had even more success if he had remained and he had much to offer us.

Anyway, I think it is unfair to lay all the blame at Deila's door as the players and senior management have not given him their full support.

I don't get how people are still sticking up for rd, he picks the team and the tactics and he clearly can't motivate the players. the senior management have given him time and allowed him to bring in his own staff and he hasn't progressed the team in anyway.

I don't believe Ronny wanted any of the players signed bar sviatchenko and ajer and my feeling was that the board were already feeling the anger from the support with how we were performing to allow him to start identifying his players so you have a manager with players who he doesn't want and players who don't want to play for him filling the rest of the squad with a small number who actually did want to play for him I think Ronny was hung out to dry by the board makes you wonder why he kept playing Johansen when he was clearly off form I hope Ronny moves on and does well I remember Celtic fans joking about how le guen was treated at ranger's Ronny may have got more time but same result in the end.

It was clear the board never really trusted him from the start, a mean they picked his backroom team ffs. That lack of trust had to work it's way down to the players eventually. A feel sorry for Rd because he never stood a chance because of that. The next four to leave should be lawell Park Collins and Kennedy then we can look at who should be manager not head coach.

add dermot desmond to your list steph and i would agree 100%.

Its the same old story, some people think Ronnie has done nothing wrong, its all been somebody elses fault, Lawwell, the board, the supporters, if only Ronnie had the chance to pick his own team and set his own tactics and take the training the way he wanted it done, is a crying shame the guys been hung out to dry, what will the Ronnie worshippers fill the space in their lives with now?

20 Apr 2016 23:28:24
well I wouldn't say I was a worshipper but I just think he had a bad deal and got screwed over if your happy with him leaving and think all will be rosy then your deluded yes he was training the squad of players but if most of them don't want to play for you then you are on a hiding to nothing but I bet if it was larsson that it was happening to a lot more of you Ronny hater's would have been more patient.

Berget remember him.

Don't worship or hate Rd but I've wanted a change for ages. If u can't get the respect of the players u can't manage them, so best for all to move on. All I'm saying is he shouldn't leave alone. HH

yep ran us ragged for malmo unfortunately he was unfit and on loan to us finally showed what he could do when he left.

Don't hate Ronnie, but some people do seem to worship him in the sense that he can do no wrong and is above all critcism.

Aindoh end of the day, with RD it wasnt to be. Never worked out but end of the day his stats were near enough on a par (win ratio) to Lennon yet he never got as much stick as RD. Wonder why.
