Ed what about this as a replacement for rd. Ian Holloway. I always liked him and he is a big honest fella too.

{Ed007's Note - I wouldn't want Holloway to replace Hoopy never mind RD. I like him too , just not as a manager.

Why aii this talk of replacing R D . We are top of the league and still in the cup. The strongest position of any team in Scotland . Tom Boyd who has forgotten more than all our posters put together says R D is the correct man for the job . I would be inclined to agree with Tom Boyd .
Getting a new manager is almost certainly not going to result in us signing any better quality players, so I think we are causing disruption for very little change . Every time we are in the market for a new manager the forums are over filled with exciting names from home and away and after due scrutiny from P L probably the least liked or least known is appointed, and we expect miracles.

Chris what you been smoking? That's absolutely spot on!

Don't think its a case of signing any better quality players, it's getting somebody in who can get the best out of the existing players, a quality Ronnie seems to be lacking in.

Chris, what else is Tom Boyd supposed to say, he's just been made an ambassador or something at the club, he can hardly turn round and say the managers hopeless.
I don't need people at the club to tell me whether we're any good or not, I go to the matches and form my own view, the people running the club are only out for themselves, and their aim is to get you to part with your cash, to make themselves richer. If they were in it for the love of the club, I can't imagine that they would tolerate the decline in standards over the last few years.

Interesting that Boyd came out with that crap on the day he's made ambassador of the club! He lost my respect after that poor PR stunt.

I am sure Tom Byd is concerned he has lost respect of ice man, . Is it possible for Tom Boyd to give his opinion again .
It shows the nonsense that we are sprouting out nowadays when an ex Celt who ridicules the Manager and players gets applause and praise all round . Whereas an ex player who praises manager is ostracised as someone with a problem.

{Ed007's Note - There's a reason Boyd is very rarely invited to give his opinion on radio or TV and in the rags - the people running them don't like what he has to say. And if people can't argue back against what's getting said they 'play the man', it's an old Rangers supporter trait that seems to have crept into some of the people that follow what goes on at CFC.
Now any ex-player who backs the CFC manager loses respect of so called supporters - Andy Walker and John Hartson must be delighted with their new found popularity amongst these types. Thy soup bowls must runneth over.}

I've never seen something more cringe than John Hartsons selfie video giving his opinion. As said by ed, it is ridiculous that Tom Boyd is ridicuoled for giving his opinion when he is more a 'Celtic man' than Hartson and Sutton put together!
