Are you sure about Frank Koppel? From my understanding (I may be wrong) back then you only had 1 sub which had to be a GK. For the Man Utd game Jimmy Rimmer was the sub keeper.
Happy to correct my knowledge if it is wrong.

There's players from Man Utd's '68 winning squad that played in other games but not the final and got medals, I'm sure he was at Utd at the time and that I've read it in interviews/articles with him. Ryan went on to manage Utd's reserves and was Fergies assistant for a few seasons, after that he was made their Director of Youth before retiring a couple of years back.}

Fair enough. I did not use that list, I just went through every final and looked at squads as I had assumed only players that day would have had medals.
