Bitton and Johansen are suspended. Commons has been ill and Brown has a swollen knee but both might be available.

Wowza. Dunno how I missed that one! Hard to bare. I think for 3 month I'd like to see Johansen in there. Get a good run of form going in a position I think he's more comfortable in with Armstrong filling in for rotation. Not fussed about Allan at all. Got a feeling RD might throw Mulgrew straight back in for a bit of physical presence tomorrow though :/.
{Ed007's Note - I think you might be right about Mulgrew tomorrow night in there beside Armstrong and hopefully now Johansen has had a rest he will come back refreshed and find some form in there instead of Mulgrew week to week. This is Armstrong's chance to show us and RD what he can do and without being malicious towards Brown being injured it could be a blessing for Armstrong and the team in general, players will need to step up and show some strength of character now.}

Big blow to have Brown ruled out for so long
With no Bitton, Johansen, Brown, and possibly Commons I would like to see us set up 4-4-1-1 with a Midfield 4 of Forrest Rogic Armstrong Allan with Nesbitt floating between them and Griffiths but that's not going to happen. More realistic would be Mulgrew and Armstrong holding with the 3 being Forrest Rogic Mackay-Steven.
With so many ruled out it's going to be an interesting starting line up.

Wouldn't have minded Guy Demel as back up in there. Big step down for him going to Dundee Utd.

That's not good news about Brown although we should be able to cope domestically with what we have, but tomorrow night is very daunting with all that experience in one area all missing especially against a team like Ajax.
If Mulgrew can't start I would even put Ambrose in midfield as I think he could do a job. Izzaguire with Tierney behind may be another option?

Some players won't get a better chance to come in and prove their worth, If Allan is fit and doesn't start with so many midfielders ruled out i really will start to question why he is at Celtic. Now is the time to throw him in. Would love to see Nesbitt at some point, a bit like Watt v Barcelona he will be fearless and eager to impress, Get him in Ronny and let him run riot.

RD should know who is up for it and we should go out and have a go. very little to lose now.
