My final word on Delia for now.
At every international break he swans off on holiday, I know a lot of players are also away from the training ground but the ones that ar left he should be working with on their defensive duties and his tactics.
Also we all know the type of person at work who @rse licks the boss and talks and talks but when it comes down to it does not have a clue about the job, this is Delia in my eyes, he talks a good game but that is all. As the expression goes "all fur coat and no knickers".

I agree, I don't know about all other clubs but at Celtic it's better to not be an international - while they are all away training with their national teams and hopefully trying to learn/get better we have guys like Kris Commons going to Dubai for a week, and you're right, Ronny goes back to Norway, I know he has his 2 daughters, and you would never grudge him seeing them but when you take a big job in another country that's the sacrifices you have to make, also they can visit him. Guys like McGregor, Scott Allan, Cifti, GMS, Armstrong, Stokes should be training more not getting days off, and your Kris Commons' and Carlton Cole's should be working on their fitness. It's also 2 weeks were Ronny could work solely with kids at 14/15/16 for eg, or even source or headhunt new scouts/coaches! I'm being silly though, - those things are too normal/ambitious for us!

I agree with you Tim in that when there is work to be done, and there clearly is, then you've got to put the hours in if you want to see results. He should be nose to the grindstone right now, not swanning off on holiday. It's not as if all is rosy in the garden. I used to be a big fan of Ronnie and I really want him to succeed but it's becoming increasingly difficult to believe in him of late. He seems to lack passion and drive. You'd think he'd be fighting for his and the teams future not jetting off on his hols.

I obviously have no idea how managers of other big clubs full of Internationalists do on these occasions, but I would imagine - if they were truly 'manager' and in charge of all aspects of running the club - they would be kept very busy.
Although we are doing well domestically, there is certainly no room for complacency and as mentioned, there are several issues we really need to work on (if not in practice - then theory with the other coaching staff) .
He must be aware of the clubs European demise no matter how good recent league results have been and should show more commitment and determination to improve.

Pretty sure you gents are happy to get home to see your wife and daughters when you have been away from home working and barely see them for weeks on end. I know i do. Give the man a break ffs.

{Ed007's Note - During these breaks most managers take a few days off and go and check out some international matches, that's the normal thing to do - we went through this same garbage last year when RD had the cheek to go and visit his daughters in between taking in two matches in two different countries.
What has getting injured players fit got to do with RD, isn't that the medical staff's job? And there's not a manager in football who will stand in a gym watching players train unless he's been asked to attend, again that's not his job so why would he be watching Carlton Cole working in the gym, that's up to the Sports Science department. Some people don't even understand how the club is ran but they're that desperate to find something else to attack the manager they'll even regurgitate the same dire arguments as last year.
Maybe RD could fill in for the young girl from the shop that's off on maternity leave or be an extra pair of hands in the ticket office during international breaks.}

How twisted the logic, I have no idea what managers of other managers of big clubs do when their players are away. But I imagine
If u have no idea what does it matter about your imaginations .

I suppose we would be better asking magic hat Warburton what we should give Deila to do.
