Sunderland are willing to pay a huge chunk of fletchers wages if he goes on loan to celtic. You just know he's going to end up at parkhead tomorrow because nobody wants him. Celtic saying they are looking a strikers abroad aswell. Anybody any idea who?

Take fletcher in a minute score loads up here and could be good for Europa league
{Ed007's Note - He never scored more than 15 in a season up here and has managed one solitary goal in Europe for Hibs nearly ten years ago. His average goals to games ratio during his Hibs career was a goal every 3.7 matches. Since then it has improved to 3.6 games a goal, we need a more prominent striker who will score goals, Steven Fletcher has nothing to offer CFC except more mediocrity and the fact that he is no better a player than Stokes.
I think you're basing your opinion on hopeful sentiment rather than looking at the stats of Fletcher's career.}

He's a better player than he was at hibs and I would rather have him than nothing

THanks Ed those stats are very interesting. I was under the impression that he was more prolific. Someone with a goal scoring record like that is not what we need

If we had signed him when he left Hibs I think he would be a better player than he is now, but like many of them who follow the money instead of career improvement he's stagnated if not went back. I would have delighted if we had got him straight from Hibs but now.}
