This is what Ronny needs to do if we are to improve, he needs to put his own stamp on the team, that means choosing his own captain, dropping the old guard that played under Lenny entirely(This means Brown, Mulgrew, Stokes and Commons).
If we are to progress, prosper and move forward these are the things Ronny must do. He really needs to grow a pair now before it's too late, he also needs to drop his favourite Johansen to send the message his performances aren't acceptable any longer.
On top of all this, we need to bring in.

These are the changes that MUST be made to stop the rot that we are seeing imo, our team has grown extremely STALE and needs freshened up BIG time, a complete clear out is warranted similar to the kind that happened under Lenny once he was appointed as manager.
Will we see it? No chance and with that I believe will cost Ronny his job, there's only so much you can do with the players he has in front of him.

I can't believe you would get rid of Brown yet keep Ambrose.
It doesn't matter whether Lennon signed the players or not, the idea is to get rid of the poor players, whoever signed them.

These aren't the changes that MUST be made by any stretch of the imagination. We need to offload a few players and then add quality to what's the basis of a decent team. Getting rid of your captain and last season's player of the year? Come on man.

You are forever dreading the next match and then when it is over you. Go over the top. After the last round you were very quick to apologise for expressing so much fear before the game .
Tuesday night was a disaster , however our main defender who wants out , could not organise our defence to defend straight forward corners . The last minute of the first leg and two corners on Tuesdaynight , he messed up big time . Our team played rubbish but it was simple non defending of corners that put us out . Brown didn't play nearly as well as we expect him , but to punt him now would be crazy .
Hartson hadn't done anything for us in the same number of games Clifti has had , and Hartson came good .

Browns pish lads I'm sorry to say, his passing is some of the worst I have seen alongside Johansens this season, Brown is in general an all round poor player on high wages which he shouldn't be on. There's a reason that he hasn't moved on to pastures new while loads of others have, just like Commons, Stokes and Mulgrew who are also rotting away still with us whilst players that show promise like Wanyama, Hooper, Forster, Ki get moves away. Because they're unwanted commodities from teams down south or there would be at least some public enquiries in them which there hasn't.
WAKE up to guys like Brown, he's imo the most over rated player in our history, he didn't turn up when we needed him most to turn up against Malmo, we don't need him to beat sides like Inverness and St Johnstone as was shown against Dundee Utd at the weekend. A lot of our fans are deluded when it comes to Brown it seems he can do no wrong, had that been Ambrose on the lash eating pizza at the side of the road he'd be getting pelters off the same fans that stuck up for Brown just because of the player he is. Our fans are deluded when it comes to Brown who have a blind faith in him, he was out captain in the season under Mowbray ffs he should have been stripped of the armband there and then after that season. When I said keep guys like Ambrose and McGregor I'm meaning more squad back up players. Although McGregor has got more football ability in his pinky toe than Brown has in his whole body. Wtf does it have to take for folk to wake up to how poor a player Brown is? Effing madness and so frustrating.
Let Ronny decide his own captain and own team and own players, let Ronny put his OWN stamp on it why should he settle for what players had what before him? Effing shoocking for a guy like Brown as captain to be forced upon Ronny, he can't play the way Ronny wants, which is free, fast flowing attacking fitba but he isn't the only one. For as long as he is a first pick we are going nowhere, I'm pigsick of the sight of him in the middle of the park. That's 8 years now and Ledley, Kayal, Ki, Wanyama and Bitton have all been better than Brown in the middle of the park over the last five years.

I wouldn't punt Brown or Johansen and keep Mcgregor and Ambrose. I agree Johansen does need dropped as he's been shocking this season but think he needs a rest like Armstrong did

brown is vital to the team suggestions of getting rid of him are lunacy. Personally I would move Johanssen on, his performances have deteriorated while he seems to have become increasingly a prima Donna. however if he was dropped then I think I would give him some leeway and see if he comes back improved. I think the thing that agitates me about him is the idea he is undroppable no matter how bad he is playing

Old Bhoy come on now John Hartson had proved himself at Arsenal, West Ham, Wimbledon and Coventry in the Prem which was a decent level and a tough league, also scored a good few goals for Wales.
A level Cifcti hasn't come close to playing week in, week out and proving himself. A ridiculous comparison quite frankly tbh.
