Cannot for the life of me understand why we have targeted another midfielder when it's clearly our strongest area of the pitch! Brown,Biton,Johannson,Commons, Armstong,GMS,Forest,Henderson, McGregor,Mulgrew! Where does Allan fit in? Now look at the striking department! Griffiths,Ciftci,Scepovic and Stokes with the two latter nowhere near featuring so far or in RD's plans! Why are we not pursuing a quality striker? Every window is a disappointment

I'll never understand our transfer policy! We've got 10 players fighting for a midfield spot! And we've got really 2 strikers,one of whom is banned for 6 domestic games! I'm not even counting stokes and scepovic! What is honestly going on at parkhead! It's bordering on serious incompetence! It really does baffle me our transfer plans! At the start of the window most people would say we need a left back a centre half and a QUALITY striker! We've one out of the 3! But hey let's go for another midfielder! Is there anyone else struggling to understand RDs thinkin??

I think the striker situation will be sorted after the CL games! But said that before and then When we qualify another shitty 2m dud!

SOS the striker should have been sorted out before the CL games! To get us into the CL! It's a joke!! On this bloody Scott Allan thing again,there's a lot of word that he'll be coming to us! u heard the latest ED? Lot of talk about this and RD looked as if he knew this mite happen!

I can see the thinking behind getting another 'natural' central midfielder in, although I'd have expected it to be someone more defensive minded than Allan. Last night for example, Brown being out meant Johansen had to drop deeper where he is less effective. Having someone like Allan to come in when Brown/Bitton are out will mean that Johansen no longer has to do that

It looks like it's the same window we've seen before, we will only buy if we qualify for the league stages, it doesn't make sense not to improve the squad just now as we would have a greater chance of getting through, sometimes you need to take a risk, a left back, centre back, striker and winger must be a priority and don't see the sense in signing Scott Allan, unless were looking to sell one or two midfielders, a few have mentioned ibrihimi from Maribor and would bring much needed creativity to the team

I would like to see us get a real creative player in the number 10 role. I,m not sure Allan could do this. Johansen is not the answer there either. since the start of the season he has been consistently trying to play one touch wonder passes. in fairness when they come off they look great but too often the ball is gifted to the opposition and we are then open to the counter.
I think RD will need to have a look at the game plan for the team. in too many matches we have been wide open and vulnerable with average and poor teams being able to break on us and create chances

It's wonderful how there is always a number of posters who think our manager is nearly or actually incompetent. Our fans can even know by looking at our manager on TV whether we have signed a particular player or not .
We have ten midfield players and we normally play five at the one time . We have four strikers and we normally play one , so I cannot see how buying a midfield player doesn't make sense . Of course we want a striker or two but we must buy the right striker(s) and that can take time and careful scouting .

Old Bhoy we already have midfielders as good as or better than Allan who hardly get a game. There is no player in Scottish Football I can think of who would make a significant difference to Celtic. Look at Cifci, and GMS. Decent players but are they moving Celtic forward? Don't think so. Scott Allen is in the same category
