I think some people on here need to calm
down a bit. It's all doom and gloom! We played some good football going forward last night , some team is going to take a hammering soon. We started with three or four players either out of position or non regular starters. Yes we should have been able to beat killie, yes we gave easy chances to them , and yes we do need a clinical striker and a solid left back but hopefully we will get them in after the Malmö game.(even though we would prefer them before). If Ronnie played a full strength side last night or Saturday and lost a couple of key players we would have all been on here moaning about risking some of them before the Malmö game. Let's be honest our focus is purely on Malmö as we know we can take care of the league. The time for moaning and recrimination will be if we lose to Malmö , not draw with killie half our team out

With all due respect Quinn , that game should have been put to bed in the 1st 20 minutes last night , drawing that match 2-2 is just not good enough , this some team is going to take a hammering nonsense doesn't wash anymore , we should be winning these games .

Drewzybhoy I think u need to b more realistic mate as the op said the starting eleven was rotated a bit for fringe players and to rest others YES we should have done them by a few goals but that's football bud also give the bhoys a break theyv had like a fortnight off then back again we r still unbeatin in the league which by theway is 3 games old so grab ursel give it a shake and come into the real world ok shite happens mate hell and I kno u will never forget the night we had NO right to beat the mighty barca but hollysht it happened mate swings and round abouts comes to mind just hope it swings our way next wed that's what we should b concentrating on at the mo so hail hail bhoys and ghirls

We created 20 chances against a team that have been conceding more goals than any other team and we take only 2 of them!! And don't even get me started on the defending , schoolboy at best , I'm sorry but I saw an inept performance with nothing to be complimentary about , we have no strength in depth in our squad and are resigned to losing our best player , tell what there was to be positive about? because I didn't see anything and haven't in our 7 competitive games so far .

Really poor defensively and in the final third. Should have been 5 up in the first 20 minutes but fair play to killie for making it a decent game to watch. Griffiths not at his best. I thought wee Forrest was outstanding at times. It's not quite Armageddon yet folks calm down.

Of coarse its unacceptable mrs e but all i'm saying is there is no need to b getting stressed and annoyed on 1 bad result at a time in the season when we are heavily concentrating on cl quallies players (not acceptable) will ha e an eye on the malmo tie and trying to stayfit also as we all kno 1 up top is alwYs going to result in lots of chances with a lot less goals as our 3 behind are not finishers but we have to try and stay positive we are unbeatin so far and still in europe hail hail

No ones disagreeing that we should have put the game to bed , in my original post I said we are all craving a quality centre forward and left back. There's no denying we could do with a stronger squad but would you have preferred if we played brown Armstrong boyata and see them pull up and be out of the qualifiers . I've been fairly critical of our spending policy on previous posts and I will be if we go out to Malmö but looking at the bigger picture I can take two poorly dropped points if it puts us in the group stages where we can hopefully improve the squad.

It's really poor when fans start excusing results because players might get injured so let's not play them attitude. Thousands of fans who went to Kilmarnock deserve better than that. Players can get injured in games or training or even from wardrobes it's part of football so get on with it don't give highly paid professionals excuses for being tired in th 2nd week of August. We had 45k at Ross county and half left with 10/15 minutes to go because we were terrible if we don't start performing better soon it will be back to half full stadiums for most league matches which hits our revenue stream and lessens atmosphere let's see a full strength team put out on sat and win 5-0 to put smiles on our faces and then look to malmo

Sandy be honest here , how far have we got under Deila and Collins? We have improved a bit since this time last season , but not all that much if you are honest , we have needed a left back for 3 years and we don't have a clinical striker who can fit into the system Deila insists on playing , I'm not frustrated , but I am certainly not excited by what I'm watching m8t , we have learned nothing and will be lucky to best Malmo if he don't get our act together , I'm sorry but that was not good enough last night

Jim totally agree but the flip side of your argument is if we play or strongest 11 as the paying fans rightly deserve with the system and lack of quality in the squad our starting 11 would b struggling with tiredness niggling injuries the possibility of players not making the most important games of the year goes up so if that happens and we fail again to get into group stage the outcry will be hellava lot worse than yesterday hail hail

Shandybhoy I'm not meaning our strongest eleven play every game but so far this season we've played 12 games including pre season games and we've rarely if at all played the same 11 from one game to the next. Surely it makes sense for our best 11 to play together for several games to get up to speed quicker then rotate 2 players at a time rather than what we see just now with 5 or so changes every match and a lack of continuity

Right now the main case for the defence regarding last nights game is we are preparing for Malmo! So what happens if Malmo hump us out the CL? Where is the next excuses. All last year it was RD is new, it takes time, watch us next season, Next season we will qualify for CL etc etc. well next season is here now. We have not played Malmo yet so let's see what happens. Too many posters always trying to defend the indefensible and trying to say that if supporters question what is happening we are damaging the club. Wrong.

The same negative posts ( not necessary the same posters ) we drew a bloody game away from home . Shock horror . Players are more likely to be tired and susceptible to injury at the start of August than the start of November. On another night we could have easily won by 5/6 nil and we wouldn't have had to read all the negative nonsense . Do some wait until we drop points to get posting negative nonsense . We all know Celtic were not good last night , the chances and half chances made were not converted and at the other end Ambrose , Virgil and Izzy didn't defend .
